Either way you want wider rubber. The more rubber you have the harder you can push your car in the corners and accelleration.

You do realize that tires are the only part of your car that make you stop and go right? Those rims are only 0.5" wider than stock. You can go to an 8.5" rim in the front and a 9.5" rim in the rear with no problem, depending on the offset of course. I wouldn't buy any rim less than 8" wide.
