I made 400 RWHP and 347 RWTQ on my 1JZ. Mind you this was with an SAFC NEO and 440's and the stock JZA70 ECU. I'm going ViPEC V88 standalone with Bosch 750cc high impedance injectors and top feed fuel rail now.
For the snow months you could raise the suspension as high as possible and then have the springs and dampening be very soft. I think this would work well (IDK though, since the last time I drove my Supra in the snow I did it with my very wide and sticky summer only tires and the suspension set...
Yes you could put small radiators where the fog lights are. I'd use one for the oil and one for the power steering fluid. You can get the small radiators cheap on ebay or autozone. Hell, I use the oil cooler from a 4AGE to cool my power steering fluid. You could also have both those coolers...
This may be true, but we all know that driving a Supra and having a lot of body roll and suspension travel just doesn't feel right in a sports car. IDK about ya'll, but I love having almost zero body roll and roughly an inch of suspension travel. If I want to drive a car that has a very soft...
Duane, I won't be running meth for the time being, but it is on my list of parts to get. Yeah, PSI does have a kickass shop. I didn't even know my Supra did 400 RWHP until Mark told me to go on youtube (I was probably in the bathroom or something). With any luck I'll have John Reed tune my...
Don't be afraid to show what you have. We all know you'll fix your baby up and make her beautiful. Hell, I've been t-boned and hit a deer with my Supra and posted pics.
Driving the Supra in the snow? I wouldn't. There's too many bad things that can happen, like sliding into things/things sliding into you. If you look at my Supra, I have it lowered a couple inches and never scrape. I also have my coilovers set to be very stiff and am more comfortable driving...
That's my Supra the last time I was on the dyno. If you look at my graph, my AFR's went 10:1 from 5k+ due to my stock ECU not being able to handle the boost. This was with 440's and 2J cams.

It all depends on what your supporting mods are...
I would keep looking. The amount of money involved in making that setup swapable is too high. You'd have to get a new ECU ($200+), engine harness ($400+), bellhousing ($390), and the rear sump ($550). Totally not worth it bro. You can pick up a 1J that's a rear sump with the harness and ECU...
I'm with everyone else. If you really want the 6-speed Getrag trans, you can do it but it'll cost you atleast $8k in parts, if you're lucky. Remember you'll have to modify the driveshaft tunnel, get a custom driveshaft, and get a MKIV diff and half shafts. $6k might cover the cost of the...
