I only see it as necessary if you're doing repeated hard braking, such as auto-xing and road racing. Or if you have a decent enough amount of power as to warrant it, say 400+ RWHP. Don't forget about your brake fluid. I run ATE Superblue in my system (as well as my clutch system). I would...
Ah to be rich, must be nice. My ideal garage would be more like a warehouse. Large enough to drive a tractor trailer into and load cars onto it while fully inside. Each car has it's own 2 car bay with massive shelving space and a full tool set and lift.
You'll need BIC motor mount adaptors. I'm running them on my 1J (both the solid mounts and adaptors) and love them. It's a quick thing to swap, only takes a couple minutes since it's only a couple easy to get to bolts.
I'd pick up a 2JZ-GE and do an NA-T swap on it. They can handle 700+ RWHP with stock internals, FYI ;) That'd be your best route. Part out your 7M to recoupe some of your cost. As far as the auto trans goes, you'll just need a bell housing for it. The cost although for it (just looked it...
That's what she said:naughty::biglaugh: Sorry, I couldn't resist, it was just too easy.
edit: damn you rogue, you beat me by seconds
Dr. Tweak, what's the status report?
NA-T swap. Although you'd have to do a full rebuild on your motor (probably has a BHG, wouldn't shock me at all). Remember this famous saying
Cheap, Fast, Reliable, you can only choose 2. This is 100% true. Downside to forged internals (need to confirm this, but I heard it 2nd hand from a...
Umm, what they said. It's an N/A, why go standalone? First things first, pick up a fresh wiring harness from a Supra being parted out. I sold mine in good condition for $75 shipped.

Sounds like a Stinger, but worse. What's the point in...
I just have issues reading wiring diagrams. I only ask if I can get them from the dealership since I can get them local. If the other set of wires is another cam sensor then that'll make me very happy. Now I just need to figure out which of my connectors is for my injectors.
Matt, IDK. I try and avoid wiring if at all possible unless it's simple soldering. Well there's 1 connector ID'd, what about the other?
Can I get these parts from Toyota since they are from motors sold in the US?
