    Machine shops in KY?

Bell here in louisville does a really good job. the downfall is they are very slow and very expensive. on the last build, chris (local mk3 owner) used Worell's instead of Bell and the work they did looked good and was much cheaper (about 1/2). He is running a Gt40 turbo on 15psi and running...

    Good deal on Garrett T-67?

ive sold a ton of these, $550 is a good price if it is what he says it is. expect full boost around 4600 rpm, and 500rw on ~17-18psi. mid 600rw is possible in the upper 20's range. there is no way you can compare the ct upgrade to this turbo. a completely different league.

    Anyone Bought this Whale Tail?

it could be a greddy replica, but the actual greddy doesnt have the antenna cutout. from a picture not being on the car its hard to tell if it is a greddy or bomex. either way, that is from yashar and i would never buy anything that he has made.

    NEW TURBO, UNDER $900??

well i guess i'll take their word for it. the only gt61 wheels i know of are 61.4/82. i searched that part number on the web and on garrett's website and couldnt find anything. maybe it is something custom and/or new. either way, it should be good for mid 500rw pretty easy and with good spool.

I might sell my soul for Prosport Peak and Hold gauges

i had the same problem, albeit a different brand gauge. the problem was the sending unit was getting hot due to its placement under the exhaust manifold. it would work fine, then it would start to heat soak and become inaccurate. you can try to build a heat shield, use thermo-shielding, or...

    The Loudest Bypass Valve

i've never seen a greddy s with compressor surge on our cars. are you sure you have it connected to the right vac port? and you may also need to adjust it. 87: turboxs makes a racing type H. it is the same valve as the RFL, but has a pipe outlet instead of a horn so you can recirc it...

Where Do I get this wing???

the first pic is a Trust/Gracer. the second and third pics are not. the Gracer is just the center section that uses the stock side pieces, and does not have a center brake light. i dont think i've seen that one before. dont worry about the haters. when it comes to body pieces and wheels...

    NEW TURBO, UNDER $900??

i'm not so sure they are using garrett wheels. i've never seen a 61.2/90mm compressor wheel from garrett. also, i dont think the anti-surge is necessary on any of those wheels used. it will actually lose spool and horsepower over a non-as housing. for a bolt on turbo, it is still a good...

is any1 here using the maft pro

yes you can use your aem wideband. no, you dont have to have a laptop. but it is much easier and you can datalog with a laptop too. it is a pretty decent system, albeit a little quirky at times. but i never had good luck with the boost control feature on an external wastegate.

    vpc safc problem

id go back thru all the settings on the afc and make sure nothing has changed. might also check the vac line on the map sensor, altho that wouldnt have anything to do with the throttle at 100% code 51 would point to the tps, unless you touched the gas pedal while in diag mode.

Post your favorite Supra Videos from youtube

new head gasket job car runs like crap

polarity on the injectors doesnt make any difference. you can have them either way. check ignition timing and see where that is. and yes, a bhg can foul plugs. i'd replace those while i was at it too.

    FYI: Fake Walbros from China

it has been a long time since ive sold a walbro pump. i give people the price and i always get: "but i can buy a lot cheaper from ebay for the same pump". i have known about these knock offs for a while now, and even tell people about it. then i get: "but my friend has ran one for a while now...

Indiana Supra Meet - May 10, 2008! (Merging with WWIV)

a dyno, a cookout or good place to eat with lots of space. then a cool place to cruise to and take some pics and cool videos along the way. drag suspension and a high stall converter doesnt lend well to mountain/spirited/twisty driving for me, but im sure there are others that would be...

Indiana Supra Meet - May 10, 2008! (Merging with WWIV)

orp is a nice track, but over the years ive learned most people arent interested in drag racing at a meet. there may be a few, but i wouldnt plan that unless there is spoken interest in doing so. otherwise, sounds good to me.

Ideal tire pressure for the track?

yep! i generally try to stay over 17psi on radials. you might take shoe polish on the rim and tire to mark it. that way you'll know if the tire is slipping on the wheel during launch. i would also air up the front tires some too. it will make a more narrow contact patch and less rolling...

MAFT-Pro Tuning Thread Unofficial and Uncensored

i agree 100%. mine is fed directly off the intake manifold. i would go one step further and put one of those ufo looking vac filters on the line too. and dont forget- dont mount the map sensor with the vac port facing up!
