    Stretch's Digidash thread

I would also love very much to one day make a mold of the rear casing as IJ suggested, because then it would be one piece, and much stronger than my butchered prototype ahahaa. We can all dream... eric

    Skyline Import Troubles

are you saying the gtr isn't 4wd? because I happen to know it is, although it actively switches between full awd and rwd depending on driving conditions... eric

    Skyline Import Troubles

it'd be far cheaper to buy a real gtr in the first place, than swap the RB26dett into the gts-t platform. Besides, you'd get the better seats, and parts on the gtr. Along with that wicked hood/grill and wing! eric

    Stretch's Digidash thread

Sorry for the no posts in the last 2 weeks, I've been busy with work, and thus also tired, so I haven't done much on the dash. I also won't be getting a supra this year anymore, since it's stupid to have for only 4-5 months before school, and be broke going into school. I'd rather have SOME cash...

I just went out and checked for ya. It's a 1 1/4 inch socket, friggin huge. Weights about 1-2 pounds, but fits super well over the rear union bolt as it's called. eric

    Ross pistons clearance

Your pistons will come with a sheet of paper which should tell the specific clearances required. I'm sure someone who has the Ross pistons will chime in and tell you anyway, but you really should have the pistons and block both at the machinist at the same time, so that he can check the bore...

should i go with 6m or 7m crank?

It's a nobraner dude. Take the good condition crank, and even if it costs another $50 to have your machine shop polish the journals to make it nice, it's still cheaper than the $300 for your old one. The lighter 6M crank will let you rev a bit faster, but the 7m is supposedly smoother due to the...

i have an idea, input needed

I'm pretty sure those are just extra foglights he added on, probably because he didn't notice the two huge stock ones as they flowed so well with the front fascia. A common mistake. eric

    Water Pump

I too noticed my blades for the old and new pumps I had were different. If I recall correctly my old one was stamped and the new one was cast, so I guess it's just a luck of the draw for which one you get. if i recall correctly my cast one seemed to have ever-so-slightly bigger blades, but...

Looking for cheap supra in Ontario

Thanks man, that is pretty much the exact deal i wanted to find. The problem right now is I go school in less than 6 months, and it's not realistic for me to buy a car anymore, and pay it back/insurance/gas over the next 6 months, only to have it sit for 8-9 months while i go to school in t-o. i...

    6.5 inch front speakers

I replaced my fronts with 6.5 rockford punches, bottom of the lineup rockfords if you know your stereos, and they shook my doors and made nice rich sound. Didn't even touch the rear speakers. eric

    My new 87 tubo

Nice clean car you got yourself there. I bet you enjoy the turbo very much more than your old N/A am I right? I like the colour too, silverish always looks good. Make sure to keep it in good condition tho, when rust comes through on that colour it shows, and shows badly! eric

    Supra Reliablity

The fact of the matter is. If the vehicle in question trully is reliable, then that would mean it can endure harsh conditions regularly and still not become problematic. The fact that peopel are announcing their supra can make regular trips and not break down isn't a demonstration of...
