did you only do one cylinder? i was told that consistancy is the most important thing... so you want all of your cylinder to be at the same compression, 150-160
tsrm says: Compression pressure, 156psi or more, no less than 128psi, and the biggest difference is 14psi.
Why the line hone? i remember that costing a pretty penny and isnt needed i was told if your using stock fastners...
but i dont see how you'd get every metal shaving out with the block having pistons, rods, and a crank in, ect...
Use: Daily driving, "spirited driving", but i say "daily" somewhat loosley because i borrow my girlfriends car a lot, as in every chance i get. hahaha. So i dont mind a tire that will wear a little faster... i LOVEEEE my potenza s-02's that are on the rear, but i cant afford those... they came...
So i got some new rims, and they are 17x8 + 32 and 17x9 +38.
I was going to run some 275's in the rear, but i dont feel i need them with the power im currently at. Nor do i feel like potentially having to touch my fenders.
So im looking at:
245/40/17 - front
255/40/17 - rear
but...
basically every wideband out there uses the bosch sensor... so to say that the sensor is crap in the uego is really funny, becuase the innovative sensor is the same.
and if any of you were on the DSM forums, you can get a uego for $219shipped to your door right now...
ebay doesnt count...
another option is the zeitronix... has some very nice features...
but i've used two AEM's and they've worked good, have a friend with an innovative and i wonder if its accurate sometimes... but i do prefer the AEM cause the gauge is easy to just glance at, or you can stare for a second and...
after looking on the site, they might actually be worth it... but i would order through the site and not on ebay... at least that way you have something to fall back on if the bracket is "jank" and doesnt fit right...
yes it does... think about it logically for a minute... the HG bore is smaller than the bore of the cylinders and pistons then it will crash against the piston...
i belive all of the HKS ones are 86mm bore for this reason... and some cometic ones are 84 for the stockers, and 86 for the rest...
one thing i did do was port the hole a little bit, and smooth out all around it where it would "hit" and make sudden turns to try and smooth it out... but that was when i first rebuilt the engine 6-8months ago...
i still havent done a boost leak test, been too lazy/tired/stressed out about a...
thats being a tid bit anal... but i've seen a lot of russell hoseing come through my work and its always looked nice...
have you looked at the black nylon braided stuff?
look at the p45 "r"... there meant for RWD cars more and have lower offsets from what i saw.
and i think wheeldude.com has some good pricing... or ebay.
fuck that... put laxative in EVERYTHING in the apartment... milk, soda, juice, any food, lax it!
just make sure you never eat at home... ahhahaha. oh and tell the other guy. he wont suspect you put laxative in everything, cause thats just crazy...
touch it... if its really slick and slippery its oil... if it just feels wet, then its water...
its most likely the turbo oil fidd or return line that are leaking... jack the car up and look underneath... you should be able to see where the leak is falling from.
i know exactly what rims your talking about, and i think it would look really nice actually... especially since they would be black and the lip would be the same color as the car...
and if you wanted to, those "lips" are just pressed in tin and you can pull them out and have a "blacked out"...
