it didnt fit my 90 either... the one coupler was held on by like 1/2'', just enough to have the clamp hold it.
Noticed no difference either... but my pipes are in good condition...
and the 90+ "elbow" is a "mandrel bend" basically... its NOT like the pre 89 elbow that is a piece of...
i sold mine due to the fact that i could fit in INSIDE my stock 90 lower pipe... which means its ID was like 1/4 to 1/2 smaller....
its a good upgrade for the pre 89 crowd, but if you have the newer IC, but on a 90+ its not worth it.
the tap does a better job because it has slits in between the threads to "capture" the shit... make sure you blow them out with a compressor, and i even squirted some alcohol down there to really clean them(and blew them out again).
In court just deny everything... and make sure your friends say the same thing. that you WERE NOT racing, and nothing should come of it... thats if you truly werent racing...
you would be amazed what you can get away with in court... and if your really that scared, lawyer up.
yeah, sounds like this "boss" doesnt give a shit about anything... but if he doesnt do any work there whats the point of him not caring about the tools? obvisouly he didnt like your friend much...
im kinda interested in the boss's side of the story though... sounds like an interesting one.
FWIW - atp has a "kit" thats $39 for the two v-bands and the clamp, and then if you want stainless you can call and sub them in and the price will go up...
but to the opener, you could trace the design on some really thick paper that way you can just mail it to sethron instead of shipping...
depends on how much power you think your gonna be making...
if you have a wideband and are using something simple like an SAFC i'd be willing to tune it for you.
I like it better with the holes all on the one side. Cause that poet would be too close to the fan for me to run a wire there.
I'm thinking that I should be there when you cut it out for the first time
when we talked about this the first time i thought you meant the actual one that bolts to the head... or is that the next project? cause i got some killer ideas for that project.
either way we can test fit it on my car. hahaha
and my first suggestion would be to move the 3 ports on the...
yes, you should.
but you should figure out why it blew... either bad machining, bad cooling system. ect... somthing caused this to happen. especially with just 6k on the motor.
and you dont need to replace the water pump when you do a BHG...
just a side note about the studs though...
but how much are parts? most kits are about 300~... so thats at least 600. and ive contacted marlin before, seemed nice, was willing to work with me about my trans and when i could get it done... but the price did hurt when he said it.
but i do wonder what his little tricks are...
i really enjoy the vented DDP(BIC btw)... i have mine spray painted and wrapped, so its super stealth to avoid the cops. but damn when i open that wastegate i break necks! haha
$1500 is reasonable... but the truck will fall apart once it runs.
honestly if you dont have the knowledge about doing such a custom swap, you may wanna leave it to a professional... not to mention that the 7m isnt very reliable unless its been taken care of properly. and most "jdm" engines...
if you dont have abs you can do a full flush of your system with less than half of the bottle. i think its great fluid, had it for about 1k~ or so now... if you have ABS have fun getting it through all of the system!
done a compression or a leak down test? and is there oil in the intake, intercooler, and the 3000pipe? or just the intercooler? i would check to see which pipes have the most oil and go from there...
idle - 14.6
WOT - >11.5 (dont really wanna go over this on a street car, the power gains are minimal above this)
theres a really nice writeup in the tech article section i think... explains a lot.
I see cars like this all the time... but does it REALLY make your car drift "better" or "easier" running that much camber?
im suprised you still have a mudflap on the driver side... hahaha
