Best Product for Rubber / Plastic rejuvenation (Door Seals...)

Dang! And I thought I had expensive tastes.. Those oils/lubricants are pretty dang cool, I just don't want to pay for them!

    Clutch Master Cylinder Rebuild Kits

OEM is Asin. Same with your transmission, and many other parts on the car. (Asin makes the parts, and Toyota assembles them into cars.) You guys realize that about 80% of most cars are "made" by companies other than the car builder? I have "mopar" shift forks in my Asin R154 trans...

    Always use jack stands!!!

Your a very lucky guy to have not lost a finger, or hand in this deal. Much worse could have happened, depending on how fast the car fell, and how much weight was on that particular corner when it did. Concrete blocks are not jack stands either! I have seen them shatter, and cars drop onto...

    Lite knock after rebuild???

What type of pistons did you use, and what clearance was set for them? Have you fully warmed up the motor? Could be piston slap? (Generally only a problem on forged pistons where 6k clearance is run, but if the shop put your engine together really loose, it would be a problem on any engine.)

    another blown head gasket

I'm guessing a few things here and there, but let me make sure I have this straight. 1) You want higher compression in a NA 7MGE. 2) Your goal was to use a stock composite head gasket and bolts. There are problems/challenges galore with this, so bear with me. The 7M has a pretty good...

So I just got my raise at my full time job...

Yep, that's where I'm at right now. "A highly compensated employee..." So no raise this year. Sucks, but it is what it is. Best I can do is get all the training and experiance I can before I find a new position either inside the company, or externally. I've been here going on 11 years...

Here is a nice 92 w/ shadow grey interior I found for sale!

If you like that color, and hate the Targa, and drive in traffic all the time, that's your car! Otherwise, there are others. Personally I like the 88 front better. :) Would get rid of my Targa top if I could do it with no cost out of pocket. (And I'd do a complete color change as well.)

Fuck streetracing. My friends could be dead right now.

Ok, I have to tell you guys about the funniest fatal I've ever worked. (Fatal for the cow and her calf that is.) This brand new minivan is tooling along at 75mph or so, dark road, middle of nowhere.. and BANG the driver runs right into the ass of this huge pregnant cow! Hits so hard it...

Fuck streetracing. My friends could be dead right now.

I've seen worse, way worse. When their brains are splattered all over the rear window and package shelf, that's when you know the driver did not feel a thing... I had one where the gal ended up inverted, held in place by the seatbelt, but her neck/head wound was so bad, she died, and bled...

    350Z on sawblades!!!

Yep, Nissan 300zx wheels from late 80s. Used on some NA, but mostly the single turbo version. (A complete POS BTW.) Here is a photo of them actually on the car in question. http://www.nissan-300zx.info/reviews/1988/comment-88-turbo_175/

Fuck streetracing. My friends could be dead right now.

Anyone who lives, or has driven across places like Nevada, Parts of rual California, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, North and South Dakota or any of the "Less populated" larger states knows that smooth roads with very little traffic exist, and can be run all day long at 150mph with the right...

Fuck streetracing. My friends could be dead right now.

Personally, I've found the best street races to be with the off duty PD officers... but barring that, any reponsible person can street race. Few tips. 1) Choose an empty roadway. (Highways are actually great because they generally do not have telephone poles and side streets.) 2) Case out...

    Steering column gauges

Nice idea, but I have my PLX wideband velco'd to the top of the cover... I need to add a good oil pressure, and I'd like a oil temp too, so this might work out if the PLX would fit there along with these two cups/holders... Nice idea. (Especially if you use some of the new short...

Need your Opinions on removing bumper grill (Pics inside)

Kitty hair will crack out, the flexable filler that Keith reccomended from Urethane Supply is the way to go. (And they have other products that will make the repair easy like "uniribbon" repair plastic you melt into place with a hot iron.) Personally, I like the 88 grille/bumper, but if you...

Military Ray Gun Makes People Feel Like They're on Fire

Very cool, I say line-em up when the next group of riots break out in any town around this world. (Like when the nutjobs who oppose the new world order are in town, and riot for the sake of rioting....) Infact, turn up the settings, and we can have a BBQ. I would think this is one of the...

Here is the "public" info side of this. http://www.military.com/NewsContent/0,13319,usa3_042104.00.html Cool thing is from what I hear, this stuff is being used right now, it can be applied to any fabric, and even clothes you currently have. (Just soak the clothes in this, dry and your good...

Hows this, someone tried to kill me, owning a supra saved my life

Let me get this straight. He hit you on purpose a few times. (That is an intentional act, and would not be coverned under most insurance.) He stopped, got out and wacked your car with a bat when you drove down a dead end. He chased you to a PD station, and you thought he might have had a...

Another new product coming soon from SIP- stroker kits!!

If you want to destroke the 7M, just use a crank from the MK2. (5M.) Easy to get 2.8L that way, and HKS used this formula with the right parts to get some very high RPM out of the 7M. (With the right cams, turbo and other parts, it was used in the 8 second MK3 style drag car that HKS was...

    Crankshaft Knife-Edging

Mine is knife edged. Looks like all they did was mill down one angle on the counter weights. (Still works however, and this allows it to still be balanced even with my rods and pistons.) Here is a shot of my stroked crank and the knife edge. Also note that the oil pump drive is machined down...
