damn search not working fast...
when you put on the exhaust and intake its going to lower spool. get some hardpipes and it will drop it even lower. past that and you are probibly going to be outside the efficency of a smaller turbo.
just get the safc and save your money. for 450 you really dont need anything more powerful than that for tuning, imho the e-man would probibly be overkill
iunno bout u guys but i bought my turbo blanket to keep my turbo warm at night ;) boost logic blankets ftw!
ps in the beginning i used the provided wire to secure it but after taking it off/putting it on a few times i just scratched it and now just slide it on.
wow..... honestly IJ this has gotten out of hand. racer i understand you problem and i can relate. i had a similiar issue with SP about getting my turbo fixed where my car has been down for 6 months out of the last year to their antics and it was always "oh were just finishing it up and it...
i disagree. i daily drive my car and i like the ability that tems give me that i can actually feel when i switch. i am going to eventually lose tems when i go to a tien edfc setup.
for most people i would keep tems and check your adjustments. if you rotate the top some you can stiffen up...
like i said over on SF:
sounds interesting but remember that the mk4 came with obd1 and 2 where the ma70 came with obd0. what will work for the mk4 may not work for the mk3.
ps. aem might be able to do this already and you would just be reinventing the wheel. think more stock lines possibly to...
different rotational mass, different grip (im assuming they have different tires) and a different offset will all effect the geometrey(sp) of your suspension. look at the hks drift car (240) with the mismatched front and rear rims. honestly just buy a full set and be done with it rather than...
get the second on. its got a more realistic a/r thats liveable plus its a garrett! youll go thru 2 ebay turbos before that garrett turbo blows. my bro has one and loves it
there are 2. the bottom one is pretty easy, the second on is a bit of a pain. whats happening with that click is that there isnt a full supply of power going to the starter from the battery. this is (as i said before) from the flatening of the contacts.
its not too bad to do but the first...
yes. usually you can get away with just getting the new contacts (check "the starter thread") and youd be set in theory. check the ground also.
since its your dd carry a broomstick and give the starter a good wack, that sometimes usually works.
sounds like the contacts are bad and/or your ground is bad. time to buy a new starter or rebuild yours. replace the ground if it looks to be in poor condition.
the reason it sometimes starts and sometimes doesnt is the contacts flaten out over time and lose their connectivity on the bad...
