that happens from time to time but its better to over build.
as for the "hks dirt" comment. i run the vpc, evc, gcc combo and am very happy with it. hks i think makes the best parts overall, never had any problem with any of my parts. maybe do a little research before you start spouting off.
come down here to tx and ill show you the arrival and departure angles into my appt complex and show you how the front end flexs alot (91 sunroof) going over the drive way and speed bumps. big difference.
Attached guys is the oil analysis I received from Holt from the sample I sent in.
The main things that showed up for those too lazy to click the link are calcium, zinc, phosphorus. The car doesn't have a history of drinking coolant and already was swapped to a MHG and ARPs about a year and...
fixed!
next think on your list should be a more free flowing exhaust. the stock dp and elbow are pretty restrictive. these will also raise your boost level naturally as there will be less back pressure in the exhaust track.
Actually this isnt entirely true. With upgraded bovs (especially with larger turbos) you have an issue with low psi blow off. the stock or bosch bpv does a better job of venting back into the accordian hose and possibly fixing the stumbling/backfire issue that people have when running a bov...
my lucas injectors (same as the rcs just rebadged) and we had the same issue. over 5000 miles of trouble free driving says i guess they are seated ok! i got my new gommets and o-rings from oriellys (and they had them in stock!)
2 posts and already with the attitude? not a good sign.
side note there also an HKS 3000 pipe that has extra injector ports for the same reason, more fuel.
looks good man but im semi concerned about your fan shroud. i understand you want to want to channel the air more but wouldnt blocking it all off be detrimental to flow over the whole thing?
child labor and inferior injectors...for shame...for shame....
on a side notei ran the 550 and lex setup (lucas inj) w/o issue up to 20 psi on my sp61gt w/o issue and i was still pig rich! no other fuel adjustments.
i think people are overreacting on the need for a pump (even though they...
fifthed. are you saying you have a maft pro setup or you relocated the afm post turbo? if its the latter i would like to see as its been talked about but not implimented that i know of. either way a few days w/o a filter won't cause much harm as long as you keep to the main roads and stay out...
update: just got off the phone with Majastic. Massive bearnig failure cause by oil contamination. Same story as before. heres where it gets better.
After talking with them at length we found out a few things. the -3 line is more then likely too small for pressure and flow. also the length...
just for shits and giggles check your stock bypass valve. it might have blown allowing air to recirculate back in and creating a semiboost leak. (ie pressureized air would be vented back into before the turbo and still show up as positive numbers pressure wise on the guage but not having the flow.
guys why are you steering him to a rebuild so quickly? he has no issues it seems with stalling, smkoing etc etc. we need more info and until we get them i would take the rebuild part with a large grain of salt.
how many miles are on your car?
thats my bros car that i have been slowly dragging him over to SM more than sf so he doesnt know about the VBgallery and all.
the car is stock-modified. ill let him post up what his mods are, but lets say hes still a step or 2 behind big brother ;)
i also hate an fittings.....always feel like im over tighting and it still leaks or undertightening and its fine?! wtf. -3 lines especially are the bane of my existance.
