doesnt look too bad. you brits have body shops right? take it to them and see what the official word is on it. then maybe look for a new door if it comes to that. is the door sill still true?
thats about what it is here, although ats hooked me up last time and i got an hour of dyno/tune pulls (15-20 pulls working on issues) for like 120 w/ wb. gotta love those guys!
some of us are college students and dont have the time or facilities for a bhg. i have done turbo swaps in the parking lot of both my old dorm and in my appt complex but got some rather nasty stares. basically if the car needs to be apart over a night or so it cant be done out here. plus im...
thats really high. i had the local supra guru do mine for 800ish total including parts labor and machining
as for the mhg vs regular. its a tolerances question. if you arent going to be pushing things really hard the regular one is fine. the mhg has to have a nearly perfect surface (cut the...
great man! glad to hear you had a good experience with it as i hadnt even heard of it yet. now go write a review for it! -> http://www.supramania.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=42
it will take a full time webmaster to have it up to your standards and for just working on it in my free time previously it wasn't bad overall. it served the purpose and would have been easy to update and keep going. plus i was working for free! can't beat free!
you will need to cut and weld to get it to fit. this is pretty much the norm for a JZ80 -> JZ70/MA70 chassis. the hangers will need to be reworked too.
Good ideas here for the dual wg setup but unfortunately flawed for the ct26. the turbo that came in the mr2s and i believe the celica all-trac's are divided but unforunately the ct that came on our cars is considered an upgrade for them. A 3sgte ct would be considered a step backward for us.
maybe check your tps also. i had a similiar problem previously where the resistance was just starting to go out of spec (read jumpy) and it was touch and go until i got a new one.
i have an f-con but am torn about installing it or not. currently it is collecting dust and i think i have a good curve already after my last dyno session.
its only been 4 hrs chief, usually the min bump rate is 24 hrs. a link to the product might also be a good idea for those of us who are less than familiar with it.
