wow...i opened this thread hoping it was a joke or his car died, not him. i was really looking forward to meeting him at a national meet eventually :( seemed like such a great guy, any idea waht happened?
this happened with mine when i first got the car, filters were clogged. found this out after i redid all the lines and checked the motors to see they were getting fluid out.
the mk3 supra has been in the background in a bunch of movies and tv shows.
the whole 9(10) yards
cops
PCU
taxi
tf&f
cheaters
worlds wildest police chases....
the list goes on but theres what i can come up with before the nyquil kicks in again...
also check the weep hole on the bottom of the pump. wet = time for a new pump. however a rollerskate sounding pump isnt good at all. my bros sounded like this and a new pump fixed it!
www.atsracing.com i believe is where you want to go. they origionally created the adaptors for use in the mr2 and we found they could be used in our cars also. as before mentioned the KS arent usually the problem, its the cooked wiring (thats what mine was just fyi)
Local member (zoonen) tried to use the MK4 trd stb and it didnt work. it will need some extensive cut and reweld to work.
the cusco is a great bar from what ive seen. the greddy/trust bar is the usual one that we use and its great overall minus the minor rubbing on the intake manifold.
id say it sounds like it is ok still. if theres no shaft play (radially, or back and forth) then dont sweat it. since the car has sat for some time crank it over some to get the oil flowing and thats about it.
if its blown it will smoke like a mofo. start the car and let it warm up some...
mhe i wouldnt blame the laptop or gateway or dell.
scratch that i do blame dell. i went through 3 hdd's on my desktop before dell finially listened to me and sent me a western digital hd (this was 3 hds in about a year) been running fine since. maxtor and fujistu hds ftw :(
possible. i have seen it happen though when the system held pressure over night w/o issue and the car did have a bhg. you might consider starting a new thread as this one is kinda gummed up about CPS info. check your oil cap for milkshake.
for the origional posters, check your tps. it is...
meh id just run the same front and rear on the stockers. this way you can at least rotate front and rear (if asymeterical) i thought ive seen 255s but i do know 245s work.
brb jayson.... you better be happy you have me for a friend!
f^%& its cold! was freaking 75 yesterday, today is 35 and rainy! great texas weather....
width - 3in even
hieght - 2 & 9/16ths
inner oval - call it 1/2 in
ill get the pics up here in a sec
id blame the 02 sensor first then the plugs. that gap is on the high side of things.
replace 02
get new plugs (especially if you are running coppers) and gap to around 28ish
as for the tranny thing..... dunno really.
