There is probably very little difference in temp whether that pipe is routed down or up. The radiant heat from the header will heat it up anyway. The aluminum pipe helps dissipate heat faster so that helps. It is also before the IC, not like on the stock one where it goes up that way after the...

Oh yeah Duane helped me take the valves out by sticking the magnet on the keepers while I compressed the springs. :bigthumb: IJ, no ETA on the first fire up. Way too early to know right now :(

I dunno, mine does not affect anything in our house and neighbors. And I weld all the time. I have a dedicated panel just for the welder though and have 2 ground rods pounded into the ground. I know where I used to work, there was one machine that kept raising the volume of the radio whenever...

I have not paid my machinist yet so I don't know. But he did say ~20 min worth of machining :) Since I sold my old Tilton clutch/jun flywheel setup, I had to get a new one. I waited a while for this due to low supply of Carbon fiber, but now it's here :) Thanks to HPF for a great deal!!

a little update, I had this done to my turbo's compressor housing. before: after:

Knife edge is the sharp edge of that dividing wall between the two ports. I think I will round them off a little like I do on my manifolds. Ron
