All,

I had my doubts this year about TX2K6. I thought the event might be winding down. I was seriously wrong. The event is kick ass so far and the turnout is awesome.

And the MKIII presence this year is the best ever. There are TONS of MKIII's out here from mild to wild. A lot of really nice looking cars.

Here's the page where I'm posting pics:

http://www.supracentral.com/tx2k6.php

I'm updating this daily as I gather more pics.

Tomorrow morning is the cruise and I can't wait.

The whole weekend was an absolute blast. Thanks for taking all of those amazing pictures Mike, I would have liked to have met you, I'm in the top corner of this picture getting into my car. Saturday freaked me out, 38 MKIII's showed up for the Show*N*Shine, that was badass. All 4 generations lined up together in front of the showroom was cool. I met the 16 year old kid that owns the MKII about 6 months ago in Austin and he asked if he could come along for the SupraNationals, we told him sure. One of the best weekends of his life, and now his car is famous! All night long at the hotels all you heard were Supras coming, Supras going, burnouts, fly-bys, blow off valves everywhere, all weekend, it was wild! The hotel BBQ Friday night was real cool, about 50-60 people showed up! Great great weekend, everyone should try to make it one of these years.

Im the one who made 347. I should have been well over 400 but I was running SUPER SUPER RICH (like 10 or below, my wideband was pegged at 10 so I dont know).

It was a blast, I'll post up some pics and more vids I took pretty soon.

Heres a vid of my best run of the day. I was having clutch/tranny probs all day long. Tranny kept poppin out of 1st when I launched, I think the 1st gear synchro is on its way out since Ive been having probs gettin into reverse as well. Im also on stock clutch and it was slippin all the way down the track, so now I know it cant handle the power.

Bigdough, that was a great launch man... Love the way that ass sunk and grabbed... I like how you can hear the woman say: There ya go! That was a good one! You are so close to the 12s! Keep up the good work!

Rajunz, is that your black MKIII? I thought you had a red one with ghost flames? I dunno, but I nearly bust a nut everytime I see that car... Holy shit, DROOLS SLOBBERS DROOLS!

BTW: Josh, keep the dream alive brother! :D

Thanks for all the comments guys, it was my 1st time ever at the track. Like I said, with a good clutch and some tranny work, Im sure Im deep in the 12s. Plus I need to get it tuned, its still runnin pig rich. Plenty of power left in her. It was a blast though, and thats all the matters to me.
