Oh yeah, the 7m/setup is up to PAR, even though I have not pushed it to its limits yet.
I just want to try the 2J. Acquiring 2 free shortblocks is really what started this whole thing.
Oh yeah forgot to mention, custom intake and exhaust manifolds :D
Might be a dry sump setup but still looking into that. Also pondering on the idea of billet machined cylinder head but I keep asking myself, "WHY?!"
A friend mentioned that he knows somebody locally that makes his own...
Update, 09/19/2008: Car has been running for a while now. Engine broken-in. Few dyno pulls, last result is 844 rwhp 646 rwtq @ 26 psi.
Everything is working as expected. I'm really happy with the dry sump system, MoTeC system, and all the design and fab work...
My machinist will be here at my place this weekend. If you can give me dimensions/drawings, I'll get a quote. I don't have access to any of those as far as measurements go. Ron.
I guess when I was learning, stick was the hardest, especially overhead :). But having done all processes, TIG became my favorite. If you have access to oxy-acetylene, it's like an old school TIG :D.
Thanks for the compliments on my welds, BTW. Ron
