An aftermarket will be louder than stock. Are you planning on external dump? If so that makes a difference. Routing the WG to the exhaust will keep the noise down. Good point, noise difference is notice as RPM goes up, different will hardly ne notice if much as idle.

Change your PCV valve and route a catch can and plumb it to the intake post TB. Clean or replace the air filter. Use good oil and a cooler if you can afford to. Let them warm up and use a turbo timer or wait to let them cool down. What else is there really, that's all that affect the turbos...

Unplug the line/plug from the MAP to see if the sensor or tubing is bad. To know if it's genuines, well, if you check the sticky on the fraudulent ones you'd see the problem. They can come well disguised. If you bought it from a reputable vendor it should be ok, but I recomment asking them...
