The ecu is definitely from a Soarer or Chaser. As for the harness it is definitely for a Supra. You will need to get a Supra 1JZ ecu in order for this to work
^ Well put. I have no idea why someone would opt for a "lighter" and shiny crank pulley. Toyota engineers made it the way it is for a reason in order to balance the engine. Just get a chain for that crank pulley and put it around your neck. Hahaha
Well unless you get a crank pulley that is actually designed and approved. I know titan has a crank pulley for a 2jz but it is around the 400-450 dollar mark.
I have had great success with Falken Azenis RT615. I also plan purchasing new tires this year and plan on going with KDW2's in the front and a DOT drag radial in the rear.
I don't have an exact number or a link but I have seen around 400whp. This is with all supporting mods and more. All said and done you are running the twins well beyond what they were designed for and they will not last long. I think most people run the stock twins right around 14psi. This...
It all depends on the condition of the turbos. Some have run 18psi daily driven and others have run stock boost and they explode. Either way the stock twins are a ticking time bomb.
Why do you have to swap out the plugs every few weeks? Do they get carbon fouled at all? I have found that BKR7E's are a little too cold for where I live so I have been running the stock heat range and it has been working out awesome. Do mind you this was on the stock twins running 15psi and...
So with dwell in mind how far can the stock JZ coils be pushed before they overheat? I currently have my dwell set at 3.5ms under all conditions. Would it be safe to bump it up to 3.75 or 4?
Ok I guess I should have made myself a little more clear. First off I am using a Stinger EMS to control the fuel. Second off I want to create a fuel setup that is overkill because I plan I making much more than 550rwhp. My hope is to run 500-550rwhp on 94 octane and meth. On race gas I should be...
I am looking for opinions on how to do my fuel setup. Some things to keep in mind are that I am looking for simplicity and cost effectiveness. The following are items that I acquired when I purchased my new setup and now I just have to add the finishing touches.

I figured that the HKS DLI would be the best solution besides changing EMS or my coils. Anyone have some results or stories that can attest for how well of a job it does?
