    The Notorious 90 Degree hose

Damn, I must have gotten lucky then. They even had it in stock at this tiny Napa in a small town.

    The Notorious 90 Degree hose

I've replaced these as well. If memory serves, NAPA had a hose on file for this application that was a lot cheaper and just needed to be shortened to work perfectly. You find these things out when they burst and leave you stranded.

    oil cooler placement options

If you have your AC system pulled there is tons of room between the IC and rad for more than one cooler.

    Best sounding mk3

The more I listen to these vids, the less I like open wastegate. It just adds noise that takes away from the tone of the exhaust. I think I just gave myself another reason to get my wastegate dump rerouted into the downpipe. ---------- Post added at 05:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at...

Brullen exhausts are the best sounding but they are no longer made.

Never been a fan of them. Just screams cheap to me.

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

Installing the copper is a bit of a pain in the ass since you need some slack to be able to pull the gauge out to disconnect it. I ran mine to the stereo surround area and it turned out decent.

    Murphy's Law Swap!!

You're using butt connectors for the wiring harness? That's somewhere I would solder for sure. Also, I was told by someone that did a few of these that its better to cut each wire in a slightly different place so all the connections aren't at the same point. When you are done you will have 2...

Code 31 and 24 with intermitent no start.

Our fuel pumps don't run when the key is in the on position. Not how the system works on our cars.

If the necessary parts arrive I want it driving around the neighborhood this weekend. Still need my throttle cable, knock sensor wiring and charcoal canister. Exams start next week so this needs to happen asap. I have to move at the end of the month and I'll be damned if I am calling a tow truck.

I'm working on a fixed mount for my multimeter. At this rate it will always be a required component.

Ok, time to update this thing. No pictures because nothing has improved from an aesthetic point of view. If anything it has gotten worse. lol I had a hell of a time trouble shooting my code 51. Turned out to be a broken wire in the wiring harness. Had to pull the entire wiring harness of the...

    My supra photo shoot. Enjoy!

I like the location and a lot of the composition work but you need to try it later in the day and with a better camera. Car is hot too.

    J-Tube

There is a more important function to the J-tube. If you were out driving and your fuel pressure regulator went out, the J-tube manually restricts flow and keeps enough fuel in the rail to allow the car to limp home. When upgrading to a higher displacement pump, this tube should be drilled or...

    Idling Help Need....

I was just getting frustrated. Seems like this problem is in the wiring harness. Just like every other problem I've had. Looks like I will probably be pulling it back out again. It's times like this that I wished I had modified my own harness instead of using the one already "done".

Ok, so if I can get all the values for my TPS into spec, and I still have a code 51, what is the next step?

    Idling Help Need....

Ok, I tried this for a while with no luck. I did the WOT and fully closed checks at all the pins listed and my resistances were all within spec. I then put a 0.5mm spacer in the throttle stop and checked for resistance and I can't get it close. I set the mulit meter to 20k ohms. Target value is...
