The boost controller does not MAKE the boost, it allows it. If you keep your foot out of it, you shouldn't see 20 lbs of boost, even if the unit is somewhat malfunctioning instead of dead.

That would be codes 24 and 13. But, that doesn't make sense to me, as I thought it started with the lower numbers, and moved up to the bigger numbers. Correct would be 13 then 24. I'm sure someone has the link saved to tell you what those are.

It runs to a port on the back of your power steering motor. Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I think it is on the nipple closest to the firewall. There are 2 nipples down on the steering motor.

I don't believe the N/A harness is the way to go. It only has one knock sensor plug, and I'm sure there are more differences. The connectors that you speak of are definitely important ones. That's not to mention that if those are bad, it is likely that your CPS connector is not far behind...
