Any tips on getting the old seal out of the retainer. It is much more brittle than I thought it would be. I'm glad you guys talked me into replacing it. I'm having fun trying to get the small lip out on the outside.
Oh, and here is the lost rear seat picture. It shows the color of the shadow...
I think you'd be better served to drill out, or bypass the J-Tube to compensate for the increased pressure. If my limited mechanical knowledge serves me correctly, the AFPR is on the return side.
Good info guys! The above bolded line leads me to believe I will not be touching mine.
Did this get lost in here? Go buy a Fuel Pressure Regulator! Aeromotive makes a nice rising rate regulator like you need with your turbo car. Or, you could go cheap (not recommended) and buy one from ebay.
Fuel System + Cheap = BOOM
The bar is not too hard. Where you have a fight on your hands is going to be with pulling the heater core out. Don't forget that it runs through the firewall. Getting any of those white boxes out is a pain in the ass.
I like to try to help when I can. You may read this statement as rude, but it genuinely is meant as help.
If you can't make a 7m run........how in the hell are you going to wire in a 2JZ? The problem here is NOT the 7M
I'll try to get it started today, if work isn't too busy. I'll link it here, and then add to it as soon as I can. My home computer has been having problems, so it may not get updated until Monday unless we get our internet figured out at home.
Welcome to the site! You will learn to love it around here. You'll probably be told to post questions in the right section. You'll also probably get told to search. That being said, here's a little help.
Our cars are old, and wiring is just as old. There is a relay posted on here to help with...
I wrecked my car at about the same time Suprahero was getting his 1JZ clip. He offered to give me the body portion to repair my car. When it arrived to him, there was no body part worth trying to use. Shipping destroyed it all. You should still get the whole clip, so you get everything you could...
I checked on my TEMS switches, and I have 2. Both are so bad shipping would be more than they were worth. One of them the buttons have no black left, just straight white with more faded areas where the letters were.
That Harness appears to be coming up out of the floor! That is not stock whatever it is. Follow that harness to either end, and disconnect the easiest end. Does your car have a wideband in it. It looks like that is why that would be there.
I pulled my dash last night in 20 minutes, and took...
I would assume that those are your stock wires for the water temp sensor. Your ECU needs a response from those. Your car is running is safe mode without it. You also need to get that BVSV (blue sensor with 2 long vacuum hoses) hooked up. This is why you are smelling fuel. One of those vacuum...
I just got a tracking number from Zumtizzle. I should have my rear main seal here today or tomorrow. It'll probably be the weekend, as I have too many end of the school year functions to run around to this week. But who knows, I may be working by shop light tonight. No real rush, as I have to...
I need to pull my parts car dash for Suprahero soon. I'll take pictures as I go. It is a piece of cake if you have done it a time or two. My first time, I demolished an entire dash under there. Good thing I wasn't putting that car back together.
There is a big plug on the driver's side, and what you circled at 5-6. For the driver side, wait until you are actually pulling the dash out, it is much easier them. You can probably do that for both sides. I can't remember if you actually have to take anything loose on the passenger side.
It...
