    rod knock = at the very least.. 1 rod resized and the crank turned... and new rings and gaskets bearings... thats the very very least...... and injectors ofcourse lol.. but no you cant just slip bearings in it.. it wont last..

    even cheap ass me would not use a autozone crank in my motor.. i took my crank and bearings to a good machine shop and he asked me what i wanted for clearances... that simple and easy.... and i was very happy with the way it turned out.. i have used several autozone cranks and autozone engines...

    I wouldn't have stayed on it for more then a few hrs... simple fact...i dont use over flowing tolits... i would have shit right on the floor....and im sure that would have got me off the plane real quick :} And yes i would have... hell I use to be a nudiest.. kinda still am..so droping pants...

    I give you 2 weeks at 11 psi before bhg if that long.. on 140k mile hg.. no ofence.. just have not heard much of them lasting 140k at stock psi..

    also... if you can borrow or rent or if you have a cooling system pressure tester... dont put oil in.. and leave drain plug out... pressurize and see if you get water coming out... cheaper then looking for milk in new oil..

    you must have insufencent (sp) cooling system... my ele fan never comes on at highway speed with a/c on and you can not put any bigger intercooler in car then i got..so something is amist.. you should not need a fan pulling air in threw the front of the car going down the highway at speed...

    mechanic says bent rod......?

    usally a bent rod knocks some.. or if its twisted enough to make the valves hit piston or something in that order.. ask him why he says its a bent rod.. and dont let him touch car anymore... just ask him why ...and let us know... and id check other things like fuel pressure and spark...

    yes you fill it to the yellow line about 3/4 inch up from bottom... car needs to be hot and water flowing... it needs to be low enough that when you stick that thing in there it doens suck up water... you can hold it above the neck just a little.. 1/4 inch and just squease the ball ... keep...
