I found using maft pro.. It was best to tune it in stages... get it to idle and run threw rpms to 2000 then 3000 then 4000 .. ignore what everyone eles has thiers i set at.. every car is diferant.. Just make sure your afr is corect .and start tuning ..took me a month to get mine right own my...
I was just wondering while i was searching for custom intakes i ran across a insulator.. and it dawned on me i have never seen one on a supra i dont think or saw anything writen up... here is a link to one its about half way down.. not for a supra tho...
well what if a DETAILED list with Exstreammy detailed pictures with say vin # etched in... something online that people can keep a eye on stuf.. like say they see a what ever for sale ... look at pictures of it... and say wow thats just like so and so has on his site and then can look at...
Ok well it seams that even tho our cars are not worth a whole lot in stock fair shape.. why are they getting stolen ? Im going to guess becaue they have alot of money in aftermarket parts.. so.. all the cars that have been stolen.. did ALL of them or most have tons of money in aftermarket parts...
From what research i found .. i was under the impression the 2 were balanced seperatly..thats why i rebuilt mine.. and its got about 2000 miles on it.. Gfs 88 turbo took crap so i decided mine works fine ill put on hers and upgrade mine to all aftermarket stuff.. soooooo imho i think its ok...
well i have a housing off the gfs 88 and the water passage hole is more centered.. the stud on cold side .. the one closesest to the oil drain supply lookes to be about 4- 5 mm away from the water passage. and about the same on the other stud.. i will take apic later and post .. cam battersies...
well damn dude.. i just read last page and good grief the fire then this.. wtf and supras are cheap i dont get it.. must be all the goodies we put on them.. Hell i have 2 supras out front.. guess im glad i got a camera on them.. you have insurance ? what all did they take that was worth alot ?
years of gas... gas leaves a varnish on everything over time.. and supras.. are known for sitting for long spells...and for severl spells to... I dont think you will find 1 supra that has been driven every day of its life ...
BHG is the most talked about thing on this fourm.. i think... and yes you will need money... good machine shop.. and a decent mechainc or lota patiants if you are doing yourself...
Ya Know like you were saying about the sun beating down on ya with the targa off.. Maybe someday someone will take one of these carbon fiber targas and cut out and refit with dark tinted glass... like the vetts have... would rock on a black car to..
