also... i have only messed with 2 -7mgte blocks.... both warped on #6 cyl you can visibly see it if you look hard enough... the very back of the block were the cly and block meet...personly i think its from the egr valve passage heating up the block more there
A strait edge from snap-on is like 86 bucks... its a 2inch by 36 inch x 1/4 think bar of steel thats perfectly flat on one side... and a feeler gauge is a few bucks....
its not hard to do
I acually dont think that would be to hard to do if you were recovering seats.
you do have ducts plumed allready going to back.. just tap in there and how ever to get it under the seat cover with.. would work somewhat i would think.
leather on the outer parts of seat.. fabric in the center...
and yea.. gf got a stinkon lincoln navigator... a/c heated seats... was sweating my ass off one day and had a/c on high... took me awhile to figure out why.. heater was on my seat :}
can you take a small phillips screwdriver about 6 inch long and just slide it down the guide and see if it hits the tip of valve... or goes all the way threw...if the valve is still in the guide.. theres a 50/50 chance you can still get it back up with out removing head...
When I was 6 -7 i got bit by a rabbid dog... had to have 21 shots in stomach groin area....
Glad it was you and not your kid or wife... Maybe fence in your whole yard so your family is more protected ?
