then try to get one turn key thats had what needs to be done .. done and done right.. you will be much happyer..
If you want a preticular car and want to do something with engine.. and you have money to do it right .. then 2j is the most reliable and highest hp hands down...
we paid 3200 for gfs 88 supra.. spent maybe 500 in parts on it and cant get 3000 for it... and it still needs about 1000 in work if that to be nice daily driver

7m is fully counterweighted so its smoother.. but weighs more.. so taking the 7m and having it shaved and rebalanced is the best .. but cost a ton..
so imho eather or stock will work fine.. if you want little more rpm go with the 6m if you want a smoother engine thats easyer on the bottom end...
if the oil line and drain are on the bottom... it cant be clocked wrong... id say you prob got a diferant turbo... or are doing something wrong yourself... but as long as the oil lines are on bottom... it cant be clocked wrong
Well i tryed to sell GF's 88 turbo that is real nice but needs some work for 3k so my question is.. how much have you made off parting out a supra and was it worth it to you ?
everything i have read on here.. the 7m seams to be the fav for serious minded people... wanting power...and its biger then the 1j.. but if you really want to swap then go 2j... imho... i ferget what i read on here something like the motor itself will hold 800 hp before mods need done.. to...
