wow ive been hit by a supra's airbag and its not a fun experience to say the least. i wonder what caused them to deploy? something about knock detection? :biglaugh:
tuning is a different story. this was a relatively stock car that literally all we did was swap afm's out. While I will admit that you could use 440s and lex afm AND tune (you have an SAFC) its not what many people will see or do. They want the fast and easy which is just swapping in the lex...
i'd get it recored, while it may hold fine currently what is the flow going to be like as it looks like some of the cores are crimped (to keep it holding?) I just see endless chasing of boost leaks in your future.
agreed. this is similiar to the problem ive had off and on with my cps. i can flick it with my fingers, hop in the car and bam it starts. rewiring it helped.
turbo blanket helped my underhood temps alot! ceramic coating on the manifold and dp will help a whole lot.
another "minor" detail is, clean the engine! a dirty engine (covered in grease, oil, brake fluid, and Lord knows what else) is hotter than one thats cleaned up.
very bad idea. this has been proven time and again to not be a good path for motor longevity. I should know, I am one of the guys who has strapped a car to a dyno with 440s and a lex afm, verrrrrry lean.
You could pull some fuel out of a STOCK fuel setup as our cars run very rich and make...

do you have a wb02? that will really be the determining factor because to run the larger injectors you need to bump fp down to compensate for the different size injectors. i haven't looked at the DM website recently but unless they are under 350 or so you'd be better getting some 550s and not...
Yup I rock Rota's on my mk3 as does Iceberg (the original that turned me on to them)
Been on the car for over 2 years now of near constant abuse and still look great. Only gripe I have about them is I can't find center caps to fit! They are also stamped with their weight limits (675 kg ~=...
exactly. it sounds like there are several areas that need attention. Congrats for getting some of the items fixed up, now just spend the time and get the rest fixed correctly!
good luck as according to that website the largest they are made in for our bolt pattern is 15 x 8.0 +12 4h x 114.3. With that offset its not going to fit. Ugly rims imho
