For a quick test remove the CSI lead and banjo bolt off the fuel rail and shove a bolt in with some teflon tape. Make sure you don't thread the bolt in too far.
LOL, the lumbar and kidney supports ARE electric powered, therefore the seats are powered seats. They just don't tilt and slide under power. There never was a MA70 chassis in the US with a fully non-power seat.
And for the record, the stripper model seats with just lumbar and kidney...
I've seen people use RHD power seats to give their passenger power seats. Driver's seat is very likely the same mounting points so you could rip some passenger seats out of a JZA70 or GA70. Anyone know what kind of drivers seats the GA70 got? That was afterall the economy Supra, maybe it got...
You guys should feel the MK4 targa, you could fling it around with one hand. Only problem is it's a PITA to fit in their tiny hatch. I personally have no problems moving the MK3 targa around. Some muscle and some long arms certainly helps. An asian friend of mine has a pretty tough time...
Check the ECU ground wires on the intake manifold, check the coil pack ground on the head, check engine codes, and check your coil pack wiring harness (the 3-1) for cracks and missing wiring insulation.
MA70 series had two power seat choices (each year, they added more adjustability later in the years but still only two choices) and no manual seat options.
Where is your temp sensor and MAP sensor tapped? Did you relocate the ISC? Did you remove the stock AFM and put a pipe in its place? Did you use the HKS harness or hardwire it yourself? Just trying to get a general idea of how your instal went.
Easiest way to check for a leaky injector is to bring it to a shop that specializes in injector cleaning/testing. About all you can do without the correct equipment is make sure the injector o-rings aren't leaking fuel on the engine. Our injectors make a loud tick sound during operation...
MisterTurbineTwister - good idea, it's an often overlooked yet vital part to a healthy motor.
BTW I like how you phrase it "experience electric shock". I've been zapped by my stock N/A, my N/A with an ignition upgrade, and my turbo. I must say the N/A with an upgraded ignition rocked my...
7m-gte - clean all that residue off and see if it comes back quickly. As for the boost, it sounds like it might be a boost leak or a tuning issue. If you're getting a lot of oil in your intake that MAFT might not like being oil covered.
sathu - #3 is obviously a little low but it's still...
Tuning even with a baseline without EGT or wideband is suicide for your engine. If you've got either one you can establish your own baseline as it's not safe to use other peoples tuning settings. No two cars are alike, they won't tune the same and that can be troublesome if you don't tune for...
1. The 7m has no PCV valve.
2. very unlikely
4. your rings could be worn and are letting excessive vapors into the PCV system which is dumping oil vapors into your pipes.
If you've got smoking during deceleration and idle then it's probably your turbo seals. Smoke during startup...
