You would have to use a DIS box to get a 2-step, without going standalone. I dont know of any recent use of the "Bee-R", but from what i have seen no one has used it on a 7M. I suppose the low output would be easier on the coils, is that the one with the dip switches instead of the rotary dials?

The MSD setup is very strenuous on the factory coils, they cant handle it, and they probably will fail soon after the install, if it will even start with the MSD. It does have the 2 step feature, that the HKS dosent have. Does anyone know if the MSD will support the 2JZ coil upgrade. You...

I was talking about all of the core plugs, and im with you on leaving that one in, i also havent touched them on the last two shortblocks that i did for myself.

Whatever you do, make sure you use authentic Toyota plugs, along with the proper install tool.

Just spitballing but, couldnt you use an MSD DIS box that has the switched 10 degree retard for nitrous, and run the switch(maybe like a WOT micro switch used in nitrous kits) to activate when the shifter is in first. Kind of farfetched but whatever, it may kill power enough to hook... I hope...
