thats just jdub. the problem is we see alot of guys come on there and try and set goals that they dont know enough about and then expect the older guys to chime in with a cookbook style answer. while 550s could in theory do 500 rwhp its a very very bad idea as the injectors would basically...
there's a few holes here that I think need to be filled in to get a real answer. You say you have a 2jz and yet in this thread -> http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82828
you say you have a 7M. fp set at 60? you had some breaking up at 3k-5k rpms, has that been resolved...
actually you are both right and wrong. the 89+ was redesigned at some point because the original ones were terrible. my brother's pre89 is alot easier to read than my first dipstick but with the redesign its just as good. if i can find my old one i'll take a pic of all 3 lined up.
on my old...
exactly what i was thinking. when i was on just the lex and 550s i was sub 10.9 through the whole pull, looked like a diesel on the dyno when boost hit...
also with the PS3 you can wirelessly connect it to your computer and watch movies from anywhere in your house. add in the firmware updates via the net and the ability to play games also and it makes sense to get a PS3.
the difference between the red and yellow is the yellow allows more deep cycles allowing for more draw. however is your alternator isn't up to the task (due to alot of high draw ICE) you may damage the battery by over drawing it.
why would you pull a perfectly good turbo motor for an NA 1JZ? and i highly highly doubt it would work. the engine management between an NA and turbo motors are just a touch different.
damn you fig! but my point still stands where the TPS sensor would be at greater than the percentage is...
i run a red and i think i killed it after letting it sit for over 9 months without starting (my turbo fiasco). just had a birthday so a blue might be what i swap to...
sorry to hear that man, but we are glad to have you back. my supra addiction helped me overcome alot of hardships and it always comes out better in the end. get your car together and i'll see you in houston!
i dont see how i was spamming the thread as it was about the GTR and not the Tremec transmission, the ZR1 or the new camero so lets start with that about whos OT. and while the C6 chassis was tested with the supercharger setup this is the first time its officially in production same as the new...
It's reliable? Really? Have you driven it? No? Do you have scientific research to back up your claim? (true delta comes to mind) No? Then surely GM has put a powertrain together in the same configuration on a previous car and its been proven to be reliable right? NO??!?!?!?!
Now I can...
the biggest thing is the tune. that will determine how long it will last. why did you go with the 720cc injectors? other than that looks like a decent setup, watch for detonation and it should last a while
jdub- dont mean to fan the flames here at all but can you say what the fuel econ would be for savings?
this is a great thread btw. i currently do not have an egr (ffim) but have the provisions for it and may toss it back on to see the difference. this may be the first year that I actually...
i think hes talking about direct injection. while it seems to be a cool idea its not really feasible on the 7M. its like the difference between a carb setup and port injection and direct injection. different levels of efficiency and engineering.
