im surprised that noone asked this yet but what is TFP and why should we care? you just missed the state fair of tx that had just about everything under the sun and if i can get some more info on it ill keep my eyes open for it
if you mean the AFM yes it is possible but not recommended. the Kv sensor doesnt "see" pressure but measures the air flowing across it, a map will do pressure. add to it that the afm housing is a defined known space, if you change the size of the pipe its installed in the readings will not be...
sub-culture but obsession is pretty close... there are very few other places i would go to ask for help, advice, or just something to keep me occupied.
aww damn and here i wanted to help... i have a corporate install that is a set-it-and-forget-it install. No keys needed. Props to helping out grandma (my parents and grandparents are about the same with comps) ME=FTL.....
damn man, that looks alot like mine (also framed) what is it with 91 turbos and them really eating the headgasket up..... mine ran like a top right up until it dropped a cylinder and i parked it for the bhg job. good luck! i need to check out your car now that i am going to have some free time!!!
3. worst was a 97 in a 65 when i was out with 2 other supra guys. tried to fight it and the law won. found out after that the judge had baby sat the DA, stupid redneck town....
set the duty cycle higher. anything above 85% and the injector can become static (open almost all the time) which is a bad thing. 15% is fairly low.
does he have a boost controller? has the car been tuned also?
its inspected and emissioned but sits in the garage most of the time and gets driven on nice days. when i was in college it was my dd and was flogged mercilessly on a daily basis
thats about par for the course. warrantys on turbos are pretty much useless as there is always something they can use to chalk it up to a user error. glad u got a cheap turbo and hope this one holds up better.
hey hey hey lets not steer him too wrong here! @ 100% duty cycle, 43.5 psi, you only need 529cc injectors to hit 500hp! :biglaugh:
jdub - i hear ya man, im at ~400rwhp and the amount of work required to make it daily driven, street-able and full functional was alot more than than i was...
