my brother has one on his car. sounds great and up until this one was the only one in the states as far as we could tell. part of the late Mike Urbano's collection. A great exhaust.
the width isnt the problem, its the clearance with the offset. shock/springs, inner fender, control arms, etc all play a role in what will or wont fit.
i run a 18x8.5 in the front with a 245/45, in the rear i run a 18x9.5 275/35 (iirc). These are basically my max sizes or I would rub due to...
i love 91 sunroof, the pre 91s are just not as good imho. my brother's targa is nice but for how often he uses it its worth it to just push a button and have the nice open air feel.
ps i had a 90 hard top and at the time a targa looked really good....
nice finds man. my favorite junkyard story was when my father and i busted up an intake manifold from this old infinity (q45) for a new tb project. ended up making a tidy profit on it (purchased for $25, sold on ebay for $135) i need to find some smaller parts next time i go... haven't been...
i have a set of khumo ASX's on my supra and my IS and couldnt be happier. I have had them on my supra for over 2 years now and they still looks great. The grip is very predictable in all conditions and when its lost it breaks gradually. My brother has a set of Hankooks on his Supra and they...
was not from bad oil lines as those came from SP. it really was a combination of things. what i can fault Majestic for that has been verified was shoddy workmanship and improper tolerances. When I first sent the turbo in for a rebuild i also sent the oil return and feed lines to see if they...
:P in this case its cheaper to buy a new rad cap then a new tool to test it for how little you use it. a new cap is less than $15 and a cap tester is over $40. show me the economic sense in that!
ps. make sure you get the right cap! i have been given caps for everything from a mk4 to a...
if you are completely stock, nothing really. just don't up the boost pressure and leave it run off the wastegate.
if you want to go big, intake and a 3in exhaust would do nicely
if you did a compression test and it came back good id look away from a bhg. check your radiator cap. if its old, replace it. cheap and easy way to eliminate things.
everyone wants to always jump on the bhg bandwagon, jeeze... other things can go wrong with a cooling system!
qft. going from my stock wheels to some nice wide 9.5in rears helped alot with traction. second the easiest way to keep boost controllable in the lower rpms if its really needed is use your foot. running 18+ psi on my jt61gt has never been a problem....
