What if the different size spacers are for different transmission and engine combinations?
They went through the trouble of different spacers... but mounted the bearing in a big squishy rubber carrier that sags as it ages. The logic of this escapes me.
BTW... I test drove the car yesterday...
The stock upper mounts have that step in them that takes about alot of travel away when you go from the stock style spring to a sleeve/2.5"ID spring setup. Pillow ball mounts should get rid of that... Anyone know of a set of pillow ball mounts that are made for these cars?
Not looking for style opinions. I just want to know if they fit well and are a good quality/durable product or if they crack and fall apart just from the wind blowing on them like some of the ebay kits do.
My stock bumper is trashed, and rather than spend hours trying to fix it I'd rather...
I'd test your sensors when the car is cold. It sounds like one of them has a problem that only exists when it's cold. You could have good comp, powerful spark, and enough fuel... but still have a problem if the ecu is sending incorrect signals to them because of a bad input sensor. TPS, cam...
My battery light is on constantly too. My volt gauge shows 14.0, and the TSRM test all pass. The wiring listed here for the battery light is incorrect, along with a few other related things.

I read about the AFC Neo needing a reflash for the 7M guys who are running the Karmen style airflow meters. This shouldn't affect mine at all since I'm running the 1JZ with the MAP sensor, correct?
I checked my version number and it's only 1.02, but I really don't have time to send the thing...
I had a chevy blazer towed in a few years ago with a plug popped out. The other five were backed out and ready to pop too. Turns out the owner did his own tune up and used... wait for it... a rubber hose and needle nose pliers to tighten his spark plugs.
Six new plugs tightened properly and he...
If you're talking about the ~$250 chinese exhaust systems that are also on ebay, check youtube for videos. There are a few. I bought one of these systems also, but mine is going on a 1JZ. I figure it might sound raspy/tinny because it has no resonator. I can fix that though. I plan on adding a...
By stiffen I assume you're talking about the rebound damping knob, since you can't stiffen the springs without changing them. Adjusting the rebound damping stiffer in the front isn't going to reduce oversteer. Adjusting compression damping would, but it would only affect the initial response...
You shouldn't need to revlave Koni's for eibach lowering springs.
They are adjustable, have you tried to increase the rebound damping? Look on the Koni website for adjustment info, it's not obvious how they adjust from looking at them, they don't have the usual knob on them.
Ditch the rear swaybar and go with either one of the coilovers you listed. Either one is better than your current combo. The H&R springs are progressive... linear springs are ideal for best handling on this car. Also, do all of the control arm bushings in poly, and pick up a set of metal subframe...
I miss SCC. I learned half of what I know from them. Now the closest thing I can find is GRM.
Tein was just in one of the mags, they were showing the shock dyno graph on tein vs OE vs something else and mentioned that Tein sets their valving to be near perfect for the springs, so the knob...
