ok... time for another update..... since my last post, i've finished removing the old turbos, went to dummy fit the new gear and found that the holes for the studs from the head on the new manifold weren't drilled right.... so i ended up buying a die grinder and bits and took care of that...

I'm pretty sure the plans for the G8 were basically an SS Commodore with different bonnet and grille... Google will refresh my memory :)

hell yeah.... about all we see of it is when they took us on a 'team building' trip earlier in the year.... and our group managed to rack up a bar tab of over 2 grand.... probably all tax deductible too....

ok... going by the grille, it's a VP Commodore, however, the rear end does suggest it's a VN (the colour between the tail lights is different between the 2) the 2 models were very similar, and many many parts interchange... the first commodore was based on an opel omega way back in the late...

1jz gt4088r users (or other GT users) did you have to fit a restrictor to the oil line, or is a -4 AN feed with a -10 AN drain a decent match without a restrictor?
