yup... all the JZA70's I know of in Aus are targas, and mine is the only factory manual I've seen (allegedly there is another one, but I haven't seen it yet)

Last night I laid all the bits out and took a few photos... Hopefully sometime this weekend I'll be able to finish removing the old turbos and dummy fit the new gear, measure up the oil and water lines I'll need and make sure it all goes together ok.

and shortly after I got to work this morning, I was handed the box from driftmotion containing the dump pipe and wastegate.... A 1 week delivery is not bad at all from the US to Perth.... Thanks Aaron :)

And the turbo turned up yesterday... So I now have turbo and manifold here, just waiting for the dump pipe and wastegate to turn up now...

OS twins are fine for daily driving.... haven't driven a triple yet, but have had a twin for several years now and loving it...

try it with handheld lights... you get better control over where the light goes that way..... and.... you'll find if you do it for 3 shots, you'll get 3 different results, just depending on how long you hold the light over each part of the shot, so keep trying :)

It was a bit of a challenge... Mainly because I didn't realise just how much I needed to change along the way, so I ended up doing the job twice... I ended up using some JZA80 stub axles and lower arms as well, and had to mess around with the alignment a bit in order to get it all to work....

That looks like light painting.... You take a long exposure shot, and "paint" the bits you want brighter than the rest of the shot, either with a torch, or with a flash, depending on the area you need to light... the guys who are really dedicated to doing this sorta stuff, usually take 4 or 5...
