Custom
a company out of japan.
Forgot thier name but I have seen the folks that race MKIV supra's ordering from them a lot of custom A arms etc.
no Not RE Amemiya.
AFFF (Aquos Film Forming Foam) based extinguisher.
The bad part is that only a couple places in the US service this type and are meant for car use as they are only Class A/B and quite spendy too. But hey. anything is better than a charcoal briket supra!
the unlocking of the door should disarm the system as that is what is the passive arming in this car.
Lock it to arm the theft deterant and unlock it to disarm it.
Usually the sensor in the door keyhole is bad.
Orange County CA?
1jz?
Not going to happen. ON the low perhaps but not on the legit. Even if the emissions was roses, and smelled accordingly. That engine won't pass smog or ref.
I used to run the random tech metal substrate 3" cat. Worked well, flowed great. But Minnesota does not have...
Those are exceptionally high EGT. 900c especially if you are reading those post turbo. You are probably seeing 950c temp before the turbo. WAY to high. Those tempratures will make short work of the turbo if you are lucky.
On the unlucky side, molten puddle of head, pistons etc.
umm none.
AGE.
87 = 21 years and running
92 = 16 years.
The rubber or what is left of it should be brittle and really not rubber any more in most 7m-1jz dampers case.
So you get a NEW OEM pulley or an aftermarket damped pulley. Either way you pay.
well then
one way or another you will pay. It is better to lawyer up and pay them, than to be made to pay by the court system as they will take it from you one way or another (judghement against you and then slap on wage garnishements)!
man I really hate the OEM theft deterant. It works but sometimes to well.
anyway, CC should have known of the OEM deterant system and either bypassed it or replaced it with the viper system.
yes
like most crap myths that perpetuate the internet on the MKIII Supra.
The MKIII stock coil packs are extremly stout and as JJ stated, very powerful. You won't find many coils that will do 50kv, not even the aftermarket stuff. Most of those are rated at 45kv tops (ie when needed).
Rob,
I hope you know that the CPS is ADJUSTABLE to a certain degree like the distributors of old. The bolt that you remove the CPS is also the adjustment arm.
The way you worded this statement........... :)
deabonni
let give you some insight into the Toyota harness.
Those splices in blue are OEM split points. That is of course only ONE part. That and you are actually undertaking the easier harness. The Engine harness is cake and splistic in how it was built. Splicing in that particular...

17-19 degree timing?
Is that with E1 and Te1 shorted out? If so that is super super advanced! Remember the timing check is done with the Diagnostic pins shorting out.
Also jdub stated.
The IAC is routed using the post accordian hose air, as jdub stated, what you have is a...
92nsx
that turbo spooling like without load is indicative of super retarded timing. The 7m never had flowing heads that would spin a turbo as is indicative of post #4.
That leaves,
When you remeoved the cam gears to install the oil seals, where the cam pins in the MIDDLE hole?
Cam...
