    does e-brake ever let loose?

I actually have seen the parking cable loosen up twice. It is not the cable. On the parking brake handle where the parking brake connects. There should be TWO bolts. One adjusts the parking brake tension and the other locks the adjustment bolt in place. If their is only one bolt, it will work...

    Radar detector question

it depends actually :) because if we can detect the radar gun "signature" that means there is an officer with a radio to his home station in his car. Put those two together and there is ZERO doubt that it is a LE. One without the other might be an LE but not on "patrol". Hell a 1mile radius is...

    HELP! failed smog twice!

Rennat check your TPS and adjust if needed. Once TPS is adjusted, recheck ignition timing. Vacuum hose routing? EGR connected fine? How about the VSV controlling the EGR valve? Those NOx are too high, meaning something in your EGR is amiss (yes I know you still passed on the NOx front :) )...

    HELP! failed smog twice!

Poodles I know these are yours. The HC did pass for you but you are teetering at the edge (for the low speed). What gear # was the test done in? What is your fuel pressure like? The NOx are nice and low which are always welcomed!

    HELP! failed smog twice!

High HC has nothing to do with EGR. What are the other numbers though (NOx and CO)? this would paint a better picture as to where you need to focus your attention.

Wiring for head light squirter on a "90"

Quin I can not see the pictures unfortunatly. On the left hand side Circular connectors are ABS Main power. Windhshield Washer pump and MAIN Electrical + circuit route. The wiper motor is black connector 4 sockets. ABS has four connectors total (going from Memory). Then you...

    Radar detector question

Wiring for head light squirter on a "90"

    Emergency brake

drifiting on the emergency brakes on the mkiii supra? Not for anything and speaking from experience, the parking brakes on our cars are good for about 3 STOPS and then they are gone. They are that THIN. You are correct. The "parking" brakes on our cars is based on the older drum based...

    Peak warnings (exhaust,water,oil)

I know what those V runs and something is off (same handle on the caddyforums as here). There have been reported issues with the oil temp sensor. Running that much heat through the oil as jdub said, is not a good thing as the viscosity goes down the hill. Also, no matter what those sensors say...

    Radar detector question

man so radar detector still detect but yet none of these companies have come up with a graphical display that triangulates based on signal strength and freqeucny (regardless if it is digital, encrypted or sweep). Have to forgive me. Ex military here. I seen and worked on "detectors" on...

    Air conditioning flush

That much is already evident (and I don't mean that in a mean way). Anyway, blowing colder. Probably and I highly doubt it. The MKIII supra is expansion valve based and as such is very very temprature dependant. on the R134a front for the retro fit. I saw a document from Toyota. 650g...

    Plug wires for 7M-GTE

btw for the sake of completeness. I myself run Magnecore which are pricey but they are the ONLY company that will do custom configuration. In my case 2jz spark plug contacts and Mercury Marine Coil connections.

Got my built 7m running last night!! couple questions. Vid. on post 66

8 bit actually and that is because no one has REALLY tried. but no worries. 3p and Brutus are rev-eng the CPU and they already have some good info on it.

Why God chose the 2jz over the 7M?

huh? horsepower is the amount work done over time. Horsepower IS work. Torque is a force but in and by itself does not do anything if it does not do work.
