Just let the shop do it sense they will already have the car apart for flushing the a\c. Everything is a variable as to how you want your a\c,
ambient temp,
oil amount,
freon amount,
how well it was flushed,
how well your compressor is,
what shape the other parts are in,
how well your fans work,
and how much moisture the desicant bag has absorbed.

It takes practice.

what i am mainly worried about is paying 300 dollars, getting it back and having a system that still performs poorly because one of my parts is worn out or not working right. I am taking the evaporator out to change some seals, so while im at it i am going to change the expansion valve because it is only 20 dollars

The oil will come in a compressed can just like the R134a does.

I'm not certain on the amount of refridgerant needed in a supra, but in most cases xxoz. will=xxpsi with AC on max and car running IF you have a good vacuum.

You guys might want to consider cleaning out your evaporator case next time you have the system open haha

Nick D is saying he's new at this? That's funny.

Other than the charge being a bit high and maybe some air from not purging the charging hose that doesn't seem to bad. You're not going to get much less than about 42 F vent as there's always going to be a 10 F or so drop across the evap. Sure, it could be a bit better but it's cold isn't it?

As for that stuff in your evap box, two words: cabin filters. Been on my car for years...

I want to do a flush myself, but not only do i not know how to do it properly.

That much is already evident (and I don't mean that in a mean way). Anyway, blowing colder. Probably and I highly doubt it. The MKIII supra is expansion valve based and as such is very very temprature dependant.

on the R134a front for the retro fit.

I saw a document from Toyota.

650g (1.43lbs) of r-134a to retrofit the Supra.

the only problem is i don't know if it is going to cool that well is 100+ temperatures when i move, so im trying to get it 100% perfect BEFORE i move, because once i do im staying in an apartment and its very hard to do any work out in 100 degree weather, in a parking lot. My whole goal here was to get it working perfectly here so i wouldn't have to work on it again there. Of course, i have no real way of knowing how it will perform seeing as temps here done exceed 80 degrees. I guess i should have stuck with my original plan and left it to the pros!
