I know what those V runs and something is off (same handle on the caddyforums as here). There have been reported issues with the oil temp sensor. Running that much heat through the oil as jdub said, is not a good thing as the viscosity goes down the hill.

Also, no matter what those sensors say in the V.

1.2G on a turn? Don't think so. Perhaps spike but not sustained 1.2gs. Regardless if they are running R Compounds. So yes, I "believe" those sensors as far as I can throw the 7m motor by itself.

As for oil temp. Yes there is/was a problem with the oil temp, when they (V's) spike to 350+ degrees not when they run at 240. At least this is what the on board computer is telling me. O yeah I forget unless it is aftermarket most everything is junk on a OEM car.

???? 1.2G, not for me, but as for other members on that board, (maybe in race trim) Shit as for a spike I have seen 1.35G spike, opps:sarcasm: My personal best is 1.05G, round and round in a parking lot untell it couldn't hold any more. (with my old tires) Now I have a set of Toyo's on it and they suck for grip wise. Vary hard compound, now only able to get around .9G. But still better then any mkIII supra I have driven.

Figgie, if you are ever going through Clearwater, (on your way up north or something) send me a PM. If you would like you are more then welcome and come tke it out for a spin.

OK, now this is getting to thread jacking. Sorry back on topic.

Above 250 degs F, dino oil starts to break down...synthetic does better, but the additive pack deteriorates. Running oil above it's spec'ed operating temp is a bad idea.
