technically speaking
you could put the exhaust tip extending three feet further than the bumper. Won't make a difference as the wake produced by our cars is pretty significant.
black soot is usually that you are running rich all around.
The 40amp CB is a manual reset CB. Easy to see (feel actually) if it popped. Located on the passenger side fuse panel, right above the 10 amp fuse for the A/C clutch.
I don't think so.
I deal with facts and in this case Physics along with Thermodynamics.
last I checked.
Ideal gas laws, though used incorrectly in this post as we are not dealing with a perfectly static gas is a law not a "theory".
Same with Avograda and Boyle's law which all can...
forget TSRM
TEWD...
look at the fuses you need to double check.
on a related note. Does it not come on at all or does it work on certain settings (Hi, Med) but not all (low)?
Robinair is made by OTC here in Minnesota.
FJC is probably a copy. It would probalby work though.
Not sure if JJ stated this but the higher CFM units and/or the two stage units are to evacuate bigger systems OR smaller systems quicker.
As with any other project.
The right tools for the...
Incorrect!
It WILL be the same.
The pressure ratio is irrelevant to achieving said 300kpa. Now your example shows only that it will take more WORK to achieve said 300kpa but in the end. If it take .5 times the work or 1000x the work. As long as it is 300kpa inside of the manifold. 300kpa...
no.
The AFM does not read pressure. It reads velocity (higher velocity = higher AFM Frequency) and with the IAT gets VOLUME.
That means that with a lex afm being 25% bigger. You are decreasing the velocity of the air read by a factor of X.
you are joking?
1st. Did you read the instructions that came with the boost controller. It did not come with them? Go to HKSusa.com or Greddy.com for the manual for each.
2nd off. WHICH wire?
3rd. You haven't even posted what type of boost controller it is! You can not be that ambiguous...
Grim
Actually, the only thing that really has changed at sea level v. the 1+ atmosphere inside of your manifold is absolute pressure.
Barometric compensation - compensates for the density due to altitude if you use it that is. If you do use it, it helps in adjusting for changing exhaust...
lexus afm + 550 will net you around 20 psi before Fuel cut on that 60-1.
16 psi.
That FCD is to help take Fuel Cut OUT not put it in. Fuel Cut DEFENSOR!
As an aside and just an observation. Breaking in a motor with all the parts not being SPOT ON is not very bright.
well
funny that you mention that.
On another forum that me and IJ frequent. We learned that the Mitsubishi Evo has an EGR based ALS system! :o I was like. What??
But infact it does.
in short. No need for a blow off valve. Divert the pressurized air into the exhaust via EGR or EGR...
