A thought occured to me.
If you (not you but these youngins) do remove the EGR. Anywhere were toyota tuned the ECU to compensate for the EG to displace air would mean if you remove the EG and insert air, the ECU is still expecting EG gas to be displacing part of the injested air...
on the stock TCCS, correct.
Lets just say that the OEMs are figuring creative ways to make the HP they make and still pass emissions AND get better gas mileage, thanks in no part to the EGR system.
Yes the EGR is that cruicial.
From my post...
Don't do things because people tell you to.
Firstly, research. See WHY people say to take it off. To gain power, that is a valid "excuse" but pointless as EGR does not effect power. What it will do is effect overall MPG ESPECIALLY at cruise!

I am still trying to figure out who in the name of started the yank the EGR non-sense. Because I want to smack them with my Kryptonite New York bike chain upside the head and then quarter them!
The sillyness of removing lines willy neely (not...
Say what?
Geez.... lol

ie.
TRD shocks =...
I ride, I have been know to pack down 10k calories when doing century rides (100 miles in ONE day non-stop). Though I am slacking in the riding so, I am starting to ride from work to home.
45 miles one way ;)
say what?
the VPC and the S-AFC are the same as they are just doing scaling for what they were programmed (VPC+550 chip) or adjusted to (S-AFC). Both are tricking the ECU and not taking over the fueling directly.
btw Even though the answer you gave is correct, the answer is inside the...
