First thing I need to do is finish putting the wing on and get it painted.
Furture plans- Wheels, new shocks, front and rear strut bars. I have a 98 civic that will have a Jackson Racing supercharger soon and probally will be a track car, there is a really nice road course an hour or so away from me. Im debating on swaping in a 7mgte or building the 7mge and keeping it n/a DD
Oh and I forgot to mention it has a targa top and TEMS.

The only problems I have with the car is the pass window will roll down but not up unless its being rolled up from driver side. So I need to test the switch. Also the cruise control does not work which I've read is usually a problem with the connection in the steering wheel beging corroded, I checked that and there wasn't any visual corrosion so I need to do some more digging. On the dash there it says security and there is a light right below it, I am wondering if that is a feaux security light from Toyota or do these cars come with a factory security system, whatever the case it doesn't work so that is something im going to have to look into also. Also Im having an issue that I havn't looked into yet but the climate control will not blow cold or heated air, it just blows, haha...

search what ever your issues are. some where in the last few years almost everything has been broken fixed and tested in some form or another on these cars. takes some digging but you will find it.

lets see some pics!

Thanks for the welcome guys,

Highnitro I like your spoiler is it factory for the 88s? I want to finish putting on my spoiler but im going to have to cut holes into the rear quarterpanels. I don't really see ruining a perfectly good body for a spoiler though....

Take a look at your heater control valve. It's on the passenger side on the firewall. There are two vacuum lines attached to it. One of the lines is only a few inches long and runs from the top of the valve (diaphragm) down to the electrical switch. Next to that, there is another vacuum line, a much longer one that is connected to the electrical switch.

Unplug the line connected to the diaphragm, and replace it with the larger vacuum line from the electrical switch. You should now have heat. Try that, report back.

i have had the same prob w/ the window switch. try taking it out and using some elc contact cleaner. re-lube the piviot and it should be ok. if not replace it!
as far as the security,to activate it,get out of the car,hit the lock button from the inside drivers side, and lift up on the door handle while closing the door.if everything is working ok,the security light will flash after 30 seconds i think to let you know its armed.

Ill try that with the window switch. If the security system is armed and the door opens will the horn start going off? It's possible that for some reason the security light isn't working while it is armed.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Sorry if I sounded like a total newb earlier, but im am fully aware that if the door is locked it won't open from the outside.
I was asking because my girlfriends car has a flashing security light, but no secutity system, its a fake warning. I tested to see if it had or security system or not by sitting in the car locking the door then opening it from the inside to see if the horn would go off. I was wondering if Toyota did the same thing on a some models and had a real security system as an option.

No problem,i have accidentialy set mine off by having it armed, windows down. Tried to open it from the inside and having it go off. Fun running to look for keys to turn it off!
As far as I know, all Supra's have stock alarm systems.
