first of welcome to the forums once again.
2nd. Thanks for using the attach feature of the forums for the pictures. Even if they are "low" quality. At least I can see those and not the photobucket/imagestation based images :)
First
Welcome.
Keep in mind. 1jz or ANY motor that was imported from Japan will have to be looked over extensively. Used is afterall used ;) Also you said SoCal. Hope you have connections already!
You should think carefully about that as a fuel cell is nothing to sneeze at. Requires lots of work, and quadruple checking what you did because afterall, that is a very volatile liquid in thier that should be treated with caution. :)
Also keep in mind that you want to make sure that you have...
lol lol lol
dude you made me laugh at loud at work here :p
I do not lose sleep for anything, hence my absence on the weekends and night time ;) Well at least you know what I am talking about. One person! :D
btw
there is no such thing as "back" resistance in electronics. But it does...
Just an FYI
More revolutions per minute equals more work done in the same amount of time (Second, minute, hour). That is of course taking into consideration that the head can flow the the amount of air for the given RPM.
To be more exact. The restrictor plate is exactly a 34mm opening...
In short "back" pressure does not exist. Does anyone here care to take ONE guess as to what Fluid dynamics calls the resistance to flow in a system?
On a related note. Riddle me this batman, what is "back" resistance in an electrical circuit? No, Not back inductance or back current. Back...
two step or ALS?
Two step usually don't "bang bang" unlike the system that is called "bang bang" which is the ALS. How much timing retard do you have in your setup?
Based on what FACTS. No, not I have a friend, (that is ancedotal) or I have heard (that is speculative). I mean facts (quite easy to shop for parts for both so get to it).
oh dear god not here also.......
talk about an oxymoron......
**The Department of Redundancy Department**
The next person that says "Back" pressure will get a fluid dynamics crash course from yours truely! :rant2: :madfawk:
Who ever cobbled that word into something that is supposed...
look at all the fun I missed!
OP.
Why limit the choices to these two engines?
Why not add 1uz/2uz from Toyota? Both weigh less than either of the two boat anchors you are asking options for and just as the 2j, They are evolution in engine tech. Hell even the LS7 engine too.
btw on...
Couple of folks are working on deciphering the stock TCCS system.
Just don't expect an assembler or decompiler made available with the information.
As stated
with the likes of the Megasquirt, Stinger etc Engine management systems. The need to "tweak" the stock ECU is almost pointless...
***swear it is like a kicking contest and all contestants (save Wiisass and myself) are one legged entries***
88mkiiisupra.
I will reiterate what Wiisass stated,
if you have never driven a real suspension setup with the proper everything, they will "feel" better just because they are...
lol
Lemme guess
The Husqvarna Diamond. That thing is a beauty! I looked at one and it is on my wish list. The bad part is the price of admission. Makes my MoTeC setup look like a deal ;)
btw on the Supra logo. Tell your friend to leverage the hidden seam feature of that Diamond ;)
Try to revalve those Koni's and get back to me ;)
Simple really.
Wiisass setup. The bilstien shocks are valved for the weight of the MKIII supra specifically which takes into consideration the natural harmonic frequency of the car. If you feel they are too mushy (which if valved right they...
