I've been looking to twin disk/triples for a while, but I can't justify spending 3000-5000 for a clutch right now. I have a RPS 3200LB clutch it's a basically a stock clutch with a second diaphragm. I resurfaced the stock ceramic/unknown material to a 6 puck faramic and so far it's holding...
seriously for the cost involved in sumping the tank and hooking it all up... I'd say just go twin walbos... that's what I did and I have no regrets other then the fact that my car pulls so hard now that it runs out of fuel if you go under 1/2 tank of gas because it's all pushed back to the back...
Just to chime in as I've been using meth for about 2 years now..
I run a 50/50 mix and used to run a 80meth /30water mix on my 1jz.
I strictly run 50/50 since reading some info online somewhere and it convinced me. I had john reed tune the car for 24 PSI of boost on my 67DDB, and the car has...
Hey guys,
The 1jz 264's that BC is making are the crower 272 small core cams. They mimic the HKS 264's but with more lift to give more power. The Bc 272 will be a little smaller then the original 272 large core cams form Crower because the large core broke 2 engines mine and one other tester...
You have lots of juice in the CT if you really wanted to push it...
4 washers on the WG to limit how much the WG can actually open, set the boost to 18-20 PSI you'd be 320/400 tq.. Even at 17 PSI i was 406 TQ, and i dropped to 14 PSI at redline and still made 307 WHP.
As for the boss, i think...
Not bad at all.
I don't know why you guys are saying these are crazy numbers... that's about where to expect the mk3 on a upgraded CT.
I made 307/406 TQ on stock turbo at 17 PSI peak at 4000 and dropped to 14 PSI by redline... Made 307 around 5500-6000 I think it was.
I think there is LOTS...
this is made by jack lim, in china, 935 resells form him... His stuff is pretty good.. I know a few guys had to put some extra gaskets to make it fit some times but you stock twins wont boost under like 15 i heard with these and a 3" dp
