well on the street i lock my timing @ 16deg for pump gas on the dyn i run more cause of the octane runs 18 @ 19psi, 19 @ 20psi, 20deg @ 22 and so on from 4k peaks at 22deg @ 30psi

My timing map is for pussies then. I'm only running 15.5* of timing at 17psi of boost. At 4500rpm I think I"m running about 17*, but then it drops all the way to 7500rpm and it's at 15degrees.

Can you elaborate as to why you would never floor it with the pt67 turbo until 3600rpm?

With lower boost, you generally have more conservative timing Jay. With race gas, more timing is added as stated.

#1 i have a seperat map for the dyno than i do for the street.

keep in mind the fuel map wont be the same on the street as you have more air flow. For example i had an a/f of 11.1 on the street and the same map made 10.1 on the dyno. Now for timing i use the dyno to see what i can get away with on the street. I raise it slowly after getting the fuel map set. Then you can see if the power comes up or stays the same. When you raise the timing and the tq stays the same that is when you lower the timing back to your previous setting.

Now since i want the most safe power for my pump gas tune i run 93oct, and i run a peak of 16deg timing at 18 psi but this is on my setup. Now i am in New england and it can get pretty cold so the boost will go up, so at 19psi i lower timing to 14 and at 20 i think i am at about 12.

I also run a egt sensor and read my plugs. Don't try to raise up the timing on pump fuel that is the diffrence between a street car that goes 30k on 500rwhp and one that goes 2k

well the 67 hits hard about 4200 or so, so i i'm just playing around having fun then i would at 3600 but if you have a z06 in your sights i would hit it at 4200

That does it, i guess i will have to get some cams, the exhaust will have to come later. Nice numbers. 3 inch will have to do for now.

how do you get away with running 22* timming? that seems rather high to me, i have mine set at 12*

yes race gas, but how many psi are you running with 12 and what setup and octane?
