I can get you an intercooler that is the same size with 2.75" inlet and outlet for the same price if you want. It really doesn't matter much. We usually use the 21x9x3 core ic with 2.5 in/out, it flows enough for 600whp+, and it fits better so it's easier to install.

Have you ever driven a 1jz car with a lightweight flywheel? I have yet to hear anyone say they had any problem driving a 1jz car with a lightweight flywheel. Maybe if you used it with an unsprung 4 puck disk or something, but a sprung 6 puck or stock disk works just fine.

Our lightweight flywheel friction surface is hardened, and it is twice as thick as the lesser quality units you are thinking of. And you will have no problems with it wanting to stall, the pressure plate is so heavy on a r154 clutch that the flywheel could be 2 pounds and still be easy to drive.

430whp would be pushing the limits, I would not recommend the stage 2 for that. The stage 3 is totally daily driveable, it's not harsh at all. We just finished aother 1jz swap last week and it had the stage 3 clutch, very nice to drive.

If it's rich enough it will make plenty of white smoke. Pop off an ic pipe on a 7m and try to drive it, and you'll see white smoke. :icon_wink

See the two colors I talked about on the connector in the center of your pic...

The wires in the engine harness are white with green stripe, and white with red stripe.

You'll find the mating side to that 2 pin connector coming off the 1jz engine harness right by the alternator. Just extend it about 18".
