If have never seen the Tanabe's or driven a car equipped with them so I could not give a fair comparison. Whiteline's swaybar division has been around since the 1960; I've probabably sold about 75 of their bars in the last year and from customer feed back is outstanding. Not only that...
Joe;
Aftermarket sway bars have 2 main purposes: to improve your vehicles overall balance in terms of over/understeer and to increase your vehicles resitance to 'rolling'.
These being adjustable give you the ability to 'tune' the amount of over/understeer you dial in. In order to give you...
Typically whitelines bars only contain the bar to chassis bushings and not the endlinks or endlink bushings. This is something that can be looked into once the engineers at whiteline get their hands on a car.
If I had unlimited funds at my disposal yes :). Generally speaking this is how it...
Hey folks;
I'm just finished working out all the formalities to get whiteline to make MK2 front and rear adjustable sway bars so I thought I'd see if there was any MK3 interest. Whiteline already makes rear adjustable sway bars for the MK3 but they dont' have a front application yet.
The...
Wow...this is horrible :(. Hope everything works out in the end...let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Maybe it's time you came to the darkside of the forcetorque and bought a MK2 :).
Check compression and check timing as somethign seems off....my little 2.8L mk2 got 145rwhp without headers and 155rwhp with headers. How is the car running otherwise? Any noticebale issues?? Here's my dyno:
Tanya if my car is NOT in the calender I am going to permanently Ban you from CS.com...
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK OK...stop crying i'm just kidding...sheeeeeeesh. Great work on this. Is the calander going to have Canadian Holidays marked in it? ;)...I'll grab one when...
pay for shipping and a piston/rod are yours for free...pm me if interested. A local source would be better as I'm from Toronto but if you can't find anyone lmk.
Amsoil 10w30 all the way on all 3 cars.
Corolla got treated with amsoil at 360,000km(225k)...1 year later the Amsoil came out with 387,000km(242k)...no filter change. The car currently has 392,000km(245k) and tomorrow I'm going to put the amsoil back in for another year. I'm hoping to get...
That's an awesome story Tanya...glad the old gal is getting attention it deserves.
Reminds me of the time I was filling gas with my mk2 and this super HOT early 70's vette pulls in (to the pump in front of my car)...camed to the ying yang ....sounded like a heaven.
Well this older...
Funny you mention that Aaron...a good friend and mine had a look at the titan and hks mhg's side by side one day and marvelled at how 'similar' they look. My money says that Titan doesn't make them...if I didn't know any better I would say that HKS doesn't make their own either and one company...
Rich;
I can't speak from personal experience as I have an HKS 1.2mm...but I too have sold a crap load (especially 2.0mm) without one call back. I have to assume that they are top notch as not one person has complained in so many years.
You could also Lurk around RX7 forums like I tried to get the 87 RX7 Turbo II 550cc's that drop right in (similar to the Greddy's)...I lurked for weeks and came up empty...got sick and tired of waiting. If you do find a set and get them tested/flow matched it will be well worth the $ IMHO...
