So sorry for the delay...too busy for my own good. There was never a plan to get the MK3 units done this year as MK2 stuff has me really back-logged.
For those that absolute must have one asap I highly recommend Randy's unit; instantly available and can't beat the quality. Even if I did...
Production on the MK2 Adjustables is almost done; as soon as we get that out of the way we'll start looking for a car to prototype this on. Thanks for all your patience folks!!!
Manny;
on a best case scenario it's 6 months from the time the car gets into Whiteline until the bars get to the end customer. Assuming we can get this started in the month of December May 2007 is not an unreasonable timeframe.
Still working on the pricing/configuration. Sorry guys...I'm just getting swamped with MK2 projects right now I don't have the time to follow up. I only have 1 more left that is coming back from the ceramic coater today. Winter is approaching and I'm not sure I can get Jamie's (sawbladz) car...
Manny;
price is yet to be determined as we need to get a car to Whiteline first; my best 'educated' guess will give each bar an initial price of about $155 each. For that price the bar only comes with bar to chassis mount bushings. If this goes through I will also look into offering...
Will take a couple more weeks before I even start talking to Whiteline about this. The MK2 goes in on monday to get adjustable swaybard designed...I got 33 interested there so they get first priority ;).
There is no story with the rear bar; it's been available in adjustable format for some time. Look me up when you're ready and I can surely get that for you.
For those curious please check out my 2 whiteline threads at toyota nation to see feedback from my customers...
Dang Aaron...sorry that took so long...I was just checking my paper work to see if I screwed that one up. Sometimes it takes me a few days to ship stuff depending on my schedule...hope that didn't mess things up for you.
In general guys cross boarder shopping is the cultprit most of the...
No Problem; we'll find out exactly how smooth this process is soon enough as we have a mk2 going into whiteline in less than 2 weeks.
Going by the 50% drop out rule we still need at least another 10 votes here to even consider this.
Very cool...good luck with that.
I have been talking to Whiteline and Dobinson very heavily lately and have come to realize that both companies are willing to do almost anything. For vehicles like the MK2/MK3 they have a 10 part minium but for other vehicles the minimum for custom app's go to...
Jeff;
I see you're point and know exactly what you're talking about...attatched you'll find a slightly better picture of a front ST sway bar and the whiteline bar (whiteline bar is the grey one). I'd take a picture of the bar on my mk3 but unfortuately she's 1.5hrs away from me :cry:
The...
I didn't manage to take any shots of any of the MK3 bars that I've sold. Here's a pix of a Volvo bar that gives you a general idea of what the adjustable bar will look like.
Just got word back from Whiteline; they don't release tension spec's of their bars only the diameter.
Issue's like endlinks and bushings will be looked at in detail only if this is a go and we get a car there to use as a prototype.
