Werd, Looks pretty good. Fart can FTG. SDR cars don't have any clear coat, so extra effort to make them shine (although that car looks easy to shine). The paint also opxidizes/fades fairly easy. Welcome to the mk2 club :D

You now need (most likely) a new (or remanned) crankshaft, new crank pulley, new timing cog, and new keys for them. Might as well just rebuild the whole thing or get a new engine, depending on how deep you want to get into this.

Sorry, my complaint right now is that I see these red 85s almost CONSTANTLY^ on craigslist, and many peeps have been buying them up and joining cs.com and it's making me feel kinda illl, like the red car is the only mk2 color left O.o I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you do get :)

I torqued mine (5M head) 25 > 50 > 75ftlbs. Then I stupidly forget to retorque after a couple days of driving. Waited a month and found that the bolts and worked themselves down to around 55 ft/lbs. Retorqued to 75. Will probably check them again in a week or so.

'84 cars are the most unique, I'd say. You have the 85+ front bumper, but the '83 style hatch, the interior pattern is stictly unique to '84, and '84 auto cars come with low compression 5MGEs, '84 manuals have the high compression engines. lol, interesting stuff red mk2s make baby jebus...

Well they're normal bulbs, not the HID imposter crap you can get these days. Despite beng white, they still have a yellowish hue. In that pic, they look more yellow than my parking light in the fog light housing, and I know that's an amber bulb.

Weez, that black car looks straighter than mine (from the little you can see in the pics). With the exception of the hood, it looks pretty good. Get some better pics of this thing, interior and exterior ASAP before someone snatches it! Oh, and it's an '86, pretty rare :)

Do not forget, I have had 9 Supras, two of them being red. One was a SDR automatic hardtop, so I am not "completely" biased :) 5 spd swap isn't too bad, especially when you're doing it at the same time as an engine swap, like I did. Red is also a target for cops. I have yet to be pulled over...
