I was curious to see if it made a difference how you mounted the AFPR....vertical or horizontal....and NO, it appears to make no difference. It appears there are kits supplied w/ a mounting bracket to mount them horizontal as well.
Agreed!!! I can watch the temp change and see the t-stat open and close on my GReddy gauge, and the stocker never flinches.
I would recomend a shroud regardless of radiator brand/size.
I don't think they offered individual replacements. Only sets, therefore, the part #'s on the springs themselves are for production purposes. When I got my springs, there was only 1 option 00602-48130-005. No specs. I can look tomorrow @ an old TRD Japan catalog and see if it gives spring rates.
I have the springs (had to order them through work from TRD Japan; no more were available state-side) and I picked up a set of SS brake lines as well as HP front pads and the billet oil cap.
Most parts are long discontinued. I have some old catalogs @ work, if I remember, I'll grab them and...
Voila! It's in! (Thanks to my good buddies Travis and Rudy) A/c compressor is not bolted up, but will fit w/ no problems. The stock alt. gave me a little bit better clearance than the MR2 alt. between the t/b and the a/c .
