The A1000 is there just to feed the engine. The Walbro is there JUST to keep that little tank full. 10lbs of sh!t through a straw for a tube my man.....
Check for codes. Re-time the engine (if you're not sure how, do a little searching. Make sure the CEL is on while timing the engine). Check for boost leaks, exhaust leaks, and pre turbo post afm leaks.
Id check / replace the ecu temp sensor located on the Christmas tree (water neck / thermostat housing).
Other than that, check for boost leaks, exhaust leaks, and pre turbo - post afm leaks.
Checking for codes never hurts, but it sounds like you have a leak some where in the fuel system letting air into the fuel lines / rail. Next time you try and start the car, turn the key to the on position, count to 10. Turn the key off. Turn the key to the on position and start the car. If she...
Yes you can do exactly what you are wanting to do.
You have a 50/50 chance it will work.
You'll need a new compressor wheel nut from Turbo International.
I have a S&W 4006. She's a Cadillac compared to any of my Tupperware pistols that I have. Id shoot it any day of the week over the plastics.... PITA to clean though.
The turbine housing will be a small PITA because you have the wastegated version.
Also, that turbo is a gt37. The compressor wheel flows almost identical with that of a Garrett to4e 57 trim.

I've looked before, but I don't think there is an individual circuit diagram for the high freq board.
Its the high frequency board of a plasma cutter. Its on the same small pcb as a fly back transformer. I've replaced every thing else on the board, with the exception of this resistor.
The plasma cutter shorted out and blew a whole host of other components (including the 100a main breaker in...
So I've got this resistor, that I believe to be blown as it sings to me when I put power through it.

Its the rh2hvs.
If I have calculated correctly, at the 5kvdc it only pulls .0025 watts. At the max of 10kvdc, it only pulls .01 watts...
Most if not all OEM turbo chargers are component balanced. When put together, they go on a VSR balance machine. If they VSR picks up harmonics, most companies toss the unit in the scrap or rework pile and continue on.
With any turbo that has been taken apart, its a good idea to have the...
