So I had my car tuned about 2 months ago from a shop. Right out of the shop it idled HIGH. At about 1500 rpms. Now here is the thing though, on a cold start up, it idles at about 600 to 800 rpms. When it warms up it idles at 1200 to 1500 rpms. So I have no idea what is going on with it. Any body have an idea of how to fix it?

Now my lean conditions. Ive noticed that when cruising around (no boost) and idling my wideband is reading 16.0+. And when Im getting into boost it goes to 11.0 to 13.0. Now I know being lean under boost isnt good at all. But when im cruising around, does that 16.0 seem normal, or should it be lower?

I have an APEXi Neo to tune with, once I figure out how to operate it. =]

So, any help?

Mods to car:

40 over pistons
264 BC cams
1.5 greddy MHG
3 inch custom exhauts off a ct26

I can't help ya but you should probably post this under the 7M-GTE Technical Discussion forum.

Not enough flow through that section.

shouldent a cold start up be running a higher idle than an warmed up engine?

exactly what I thought. And yes its suppose to be that way (high idle cold, low idle warm). lol

Check for codes. Re-time the engine (if you're not sure how, do a little searching. Make sure the CEL is on while timing the engine). Check for boost leaks, exhaust leaks, and pre turbo post afm leaks.
